Laura has been a Registered Massage Therapist for 27 years, with extensive experience working in multidisciplinary clinics focusing on injury rehabilitation, deep tissue therapy, and sports massage 🏃

Dr. Faubert was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario. He attended the University of Windsor and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics focusing on movement science. Dr. Jake then pursued his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in New York at Northeast College of Health Sciences where he gained specialized certificates in nutrition and sports injury management 🏃
After graduation, Dr. Jake moved to Michigan to practice in Port Austin. In his spare time he likes to fish, golf, and enjoy all types of sports. He is looking forward to meeting and serving all patients in the Tecumseh and surrounding area.👨⚕️

Logan College of Chiropractic graduate - Doctorate of Chiropractic, Cum Laude. Proud University of Windsor graduate, having achieved an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology - Movement Science.
Extensive experience performing functional examinations and providing quality evidence-based chiropractic care to patients. Having provided chiropractic care to amateur, semi-professional, professional athletes, middle-aged/elderly patients, pre/post natal women and those victims of neurological compromise (acquired and congenital), will better allow me to serve all types of patients and assist them in achieving their goals.
Utilizing various chiropractic techniques, I ensure patients are receiving comfortable adjustments. Aside from chiropractic adjustments, I have extensive training in Biomedical Acupuncture / Dry Needling as well as Traditional Chinese Medicine, Active Release Technique and various other soft tissue techniques. As a human performance specialist, I believe rehabilitation plays a key-role in a patient’s recovery. Each patient receives individualized exercise protocols to address their main complaint. Aside from therapeutic rehabilitation, I have a passion for working with all athletes, providing them with performance care, to better assist them in achieving a higher level of function. Goals of treatment for each patient is to determine cause of the primary complaint, alleviate pain, improve overall function and maximize human performance.
Working close with physical therapists, medical doctors, dentists and orthopaedic surgeon's and other specialists, I ensure patients are receiving the healthcare they require for their primary complaints. Aside from therapeutic care, I have a passion for working with athletes, providing performance care, allowing them to compete at a higher level in their sport.
My positive work ethic, outgoing nature, volunteer and academic experiences will provide me with the proper tools to excel in the health care profession. I aim to provide my clients with a comfortable and professional environment, allowing individuals to understand their condition and provide them with the tools they need to live pain-free.
Having played junior hockey for 7 years prior to my professional education, Chiropractic allowed me to perform at my highest potential and return-to-play quicker following injuries. I have been involved with the Essex 73’s, LaSalle Vipers and Lakeshore Canadians organizations over the course of my junior career. Outside of sport, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and being in the outdoors (hunting, fishing, hiking). As the Chiropractor and performance coach for the LaSalle Vipers junior hockey club, I strive to continue being active and giving back to my community.
