Seen Vision Care Comprehensive Eye Exams and Contact Lens Fittings
Walkerville's Premiere Professional Eyewear Boutique We were tired. We started looking at the warehouse clubs.

When we ask – “Have you been SEEN?” – it can mean quite a few things to quite a few people. To us, it means have you enjoyed the experience of getting your eyes examined by the most cutting edge equipment, meeting the most well trained physician, and getting styled by our knowledgeable staff in choosing the best eyeglass frame that suits you and your personality. We were tired of the nonsense and all the run around of why patients kept coming back complaining that they just wanted to see. Sounds like such a simple request:

“Hey doc, I’m here for my annual eye exam. I just want to see better and look good doing it.”

So why was it so hard? These fine establishments are great when you need 6 gallons of mustard or a pack of 480 shop towels. However, what are they selling us that we are putting on our face? Firstly, many of the frames are close out frames that are from 4 seasons ago that didn’t sell so well in typical optical shops so the manufacturer dumps them on the warehouse for a fraction of the cost if they buy 25,000 of them. Well, if it didn’t sell so hot initially, what makes them think they will look better on people the second time around? We then looked at the crabby old places around town. The dinosaurs of vision care. Everything creaks in these places. This is where eyeglasses go to die. OK, not really, but it feels this way. So we looked to do the exact opposite. First, we said there should be light!! We picked an office with tons of windows. This allows for you to appreciate the eyewear in the most natural of settings rather than a dark dingy office or under fluorescent lights (this avoids that blue frame you picked last year being green when you got home!). Next, we outfitted the space with clean new cabinetry and shelving to show off the frames appropriately. And mirrors! Tons of them! All over the place! You want to see what these new frames look like from every angle! We always realized that the most important factor in getting you to see clearer is trusting the prescription. With the most updated equipment and more computerization and automation than NASA (this statement can’t be verified), SEEN Vision Care eliminates any doubt as to what prescription will be most comfortable and efficient for you. The Eyelogic system will automatically calculate your objective prescription by evaluating both the shape and length of your eyes. After assessing that the rest of your eye is healthy and looking out for common eye disease such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy, the doctor will review everything that happened and EXPLAIN the who’s, what’s and why’s of your vision and inform you of the options that you have. Our doctor does not make a decision for you, rather he makes a decision with you that best fits your visual needs. Once the exam is complete head out to the ultramodern optical showroom where you will find all the hottest designer frames and sunglasses. Let our stylists help you decide what looks best or, if you know what you want pick it out yourself. We’ll fit the frames you choose with the best lens options available and will not try and sell you things that you really don’t need. It’s that easy – so the only question left is Have you been SEEN? Don’t be bullied by your old eye doctor’s office into buying designer eyewear from last season for inflated prices. And don’t get pushed around like cattle at those big box retailers and warehouses that claim to have your best interests in mind when really, they are selling you things from 1985.
