In light of the events that took place yesterday morning in our neighboring town of Wingham I want to remind everyone that my office is a safe space if you need to talk or just have a quiet moment.

Please remember that bullying is never okay and that our words have a great impact no matter the age. Speak kindly to others, tell a stranger they are doing a great job, and never be a bystander.

We at Dr. Emily Montag Family Chiropractic Care are excited to announce that we will be welcoming Chiropractic intern Lena Wheeler into our space for 8 weeks as of Monday! Lena will be available for initial visit consultations following March 30th under the supervision and consultation of Dr. Emily Montag.

Please help us welcome Lena into our space! Here is a little information to help you get to know her!

Lena Wheeler, Chiropractic Intern
Lena grew up in Mildmay, attending Sacred Heart School as a child, followed by secondary education at Sacred Heart High School in Walkerton. She then attended Ontario Tech University in Oshawa obtaining her Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) in Kinesiology and is currently in her fourth and final year of her Doctorate of Chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in North York. In her spare time Lena enjoys running, hiking, swimming and spending time with her friends and family.

Dr. Montag is currently monitoring the weather forecast for our area this evening (March 16) heading into tomorrow. If you are scheduled for an appointment please check your email and/or on our page before heading out. Safety is top priority as always!

1. If you don't feel safe traveling, DON'T. No fee is associated with weather related cancellations. However, we do appreciate as much notice as possible so the spot can be potential filled
2. If the clinic needs to close, it will be posted on Facebook, effected clients will be emailed or phoned (if part way through the day). I will work to reschedule everyone as soon as it is safe to do so.

Saturday Feb 7th clients of Dr. Emily please be advised I am aware of the current weather and road conditions and am monitoring them into tomorrow morning. I will be in contact if I am unable to make it safely to the clinic by 730 am at the very latest. Please note that if I am able to make it but you don't feel safe traveling/road closures prevent you from doing so I absolutely 100% understand. As always everyone's safety comes first!

If you have been in the clinic space I'm sure you have noticed that our floors are in need of some repairs. Due to this the clinic will be closed for the week of Feb 16-20th in order to allow this to occur.

Please note that as of January 1st, 2026 chiropractic services will be increasing for adult subsequent visits and extended visits in order to keep up the level of care you are used to while also keeping up with continued increased costs of operations.
