💚❤️💚🎁The holidays can bring many emotions: joy, reflection, nostalgia, and sometimes tenderness. Wherever you find yourself this season, please know that it’s okay to feel it all. There is no “right” way to experience the holidays.

May this Christmas and holiday season bring moments of peace, warmth, and connection—whether that’s with loved ones, nature, rest, or quiet reflection.

May the coming year hold space for continued growth, self-compassion, and hope.❤️💚❤️🎄

In pottery, much like in relationships, we learn through touch, shaping, and connection. Attachment-based creative arts like pottery can offer a unique way to explore patterns of trust, safety, and creativity while working with clay. ♥️

Today, we pause to honour the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. 🧡

This is a day to remember the children who never made it home, the survivors of residential schools, and the families and communities forever impacted. It is also a day to listen, to learn, and to reflect on the truths of our shared history—truths that are often painful, but necessary to acknowledge if we are to walk together toward healing.

Reconciliation is not a single day; it is a commitment we carry forward in our words, our actions, and our hearts. May we hold space for Indigenous voices, honour their resilience, and strive to create a future rooted in respect, justice, and compassion.

Every child matters. 🧡

🌿 Important Update on Counselling Rates 🌿
Dear clients,
As of October 1st, 2025, my individual private session rates will be $130. This adjustment is in accordance with the BCACC guidelines for registered clinical counsellors.

✨ Please note:
Counselling packages will no longer be offered moving forward.
If you purchased a package before September 30th, 2025, it will still be fully honoured.

This change does not apply to clients covered by extended services (such as FNHA or other funded programs).

I know changes like this can bring up mixed feelings, so I want to express my gratitude for your trust and ongoing commitment to your mental health journey.

💙 Every step you take in therapy is an investment in your well-being, and I’m honoured to walk alongside you in that process.
If you have any questions or concerns about this update, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
With care,

Teresa

🌍💙 Caring for Your Mental Health in Turbulent Times
With so much happening in the world—from geopolitical conflicts to social issues close to home—it’s natural to feel waves of anxiety, helplessness, or even guilt. Many of us are deeply empathetic, and while staying informed is important, carrying the weight of the world on our shoulders can become overwhelming.

🧘‍♀️✨ Here are some gentle self-care practices to help protect your peace while still caring about what’s happening around you:

Set healthy limits with news and social media. Choose a specific time to catch up, rather than scrolling endlessly.

Ground yourself daily. Try simple breathwork, stretching, or placing your feet firmly on the ground and noticing your surroundings.

Balance engagement with rest. It’s okay to step back and recharge—you don’t need to be “on” all the time to still care.

Channel emotions into action. Volunteer, donate, or engage in community efforts—small acts can transform anxiety into meaningful impact.

Protect your inner space. Journaling, prayer, meditation, or talking with someone you trust can help release what you’re carrying.
💡 Remember: Taking care of your mental health doesn’t mean ignoring the world—it means nurturing your resilience so you can continue showing up with compassion and strength.
