I truly don’t understand the whole you vs me mentality.

I know some people thrive off of that competition, but I will never believe it needs to be that way. What are we competing for?

Love? There’s enough of it to go around.
Success? There’s enough of it to go around.
Happiness? There’s enough of it to go around.
Attention? Bleh. Is it really all that great anyway?

In my mind, it will always be you + me.

I don’t need to push you down to get ahead. I don’t need to put you down to be lifted up. I don’t need to steal your ideas or take credit for your work. I’ve got my own brain, my own thoughts and my own passions.

The only way I want to go through life is valuing others, valuing connection, and believing we ALL have the ability to get where we need to be and that we are more likely to get there building bridges than building walls.

Krystlelee’s Spa wants to say a huge thank you to all my wonderfully loyal clients for your unwavering support throughout the years, it’s certainly been a difficult time for all of us the past couple years. As ever, I want to continue to provide the best service I can!
As a small local business, I am proud I have been able to maintain my prices throughout the pandemic. However, due to industry-wide price increases that are out of my control, you will see a slight price increase on some services effective January 1st 2023.

Covid-19 has placed some delays on the build of the new Spa loft, therefore, has us reaching for August 2020 as a potential open date as our new goal! We are putting every effort into being able to open the new doors as soon as possible! On another note I am THRILLED to announce that my Mobile services are now open for booking and I cannot wait to see you all again! I genuinely appreciate your patience and understanding as I revised my procedures in response to the COVID-19 safety guidelines from WorkSafeBC, the Public Health Officer, as well as the recommendations of the BC Beauty Council. I am giving my all to offer you the best services I can, in the safest and most comfortable way possible. If you do have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me anytime. Here are the changes and Important info:

Booking/ Changing/Cancelling Appointments:
-Please make appointments via phone/text message/Facebook.
-Mandatory screening questions will be asked when confirming your appointment
-If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, you will be asked to reschedule no less than 14 days later.
- Please let me know if you are not feeling well prior to the appointment, there is no charge to reschedule the appointment during these unpredictable times.
- As the service provider, If I am displaying any symptoms of illness, I will reschedule your appointment to a later time. There will be no discounts should this need occur.
- I reserve the right to cancel (or end an appointment that is taking place) if the client is showing symptoms of illness, and am recommend rebooking you at a later date

For your Appointment:
- You will be required to wash your hands upon arrival or use the hand sanitizer provided, as I am required to do the same for both our safety consistently.
- It is advised to wear a mask. Disposable masks are available and included in each Covid-19 PPE fee that is added onto each appointment.
- Please knock on the door for checking in and entry as only one client allowed in the Spa at a time.
- Regarding the mobile spa, please respect that I will require a safe space to provide the services that respect the social distancing regulations away from friends or family members in your home.
- Please limit the number of personal belongings; I am not able to touch personal belongings.
- I will be wearing a mask when the recommended 6 feet regulation can not be maintained.
- I will prep and disinfected with hospital grade cleaner before and after each client
- A small PPE charge of $2.50 will be added to your service cost, allowing for me to be able to safely provide you with the services.

HEY BEAUTIFUL SOULS!
I am missing you all! And hope everyone is staying healthy and well during this time! I am projecting to REOPEN JULY 1st! The covid restrictions are unknown to what they will be at that time but of coarse I will take every precaution necessary always to keep you and myself safe. The build of my new spa is so exciting and coming along so wonderfully!
I am going to be revamping some of my services and adding some new ones!! I have been taking good use of my time while being closed and doing some online courses and studying to try to bring as much as I can to the table for you all when I reopen. I cannot wait to see all of your faces again and to share my new amazing space! Thank you all for you patience! 🙏🏼🌷

While many people enjoy my in-home services as a convenient luxury, I also have many clients who utilize my services in order to achieve a better quality of life.

I offer a special discounted price on professional manicures, pedicures, and massages designed specifically for guests who are: seniors; individuals with disabilities; special needs; recovering from surgery; or, in hospice care. I also offer the special discounted price on professional manicures and pedicures designed specifically for the safety and wellness of individuals with Diabetes.
I educate myself continuously on the particular needs of my clientele and promise a clean, safe environment where my guests can relax and enjoy spa services. Every precaution is taken to ensure the security, comfort and well-being of each client. All tools and materials are completely sanitized, and all porous tools are single use and disposable.

As long as there is nothing specifically contraindicated for the treatment, I welcome and I value every individual. Depending on the condition, I may require a doctor’s authorization before commencing treatment along with a standard consent form for those who are not able to manage their own affairs.
