Bonnie and Bill lived for 35 years on their farm at Lot 10 Concession 3 in Camden Gore Twp., where they made many happy memories with family and friends that will last a lifetime. In 2008 they moved to Dresden, where they enjoyed new friendships in the neighbourhood. Mom was a dedicated member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Dresden, where she enjoyed serving the Lord, working in the kitchen alongside her church family. She loved baking butter tarts and bringing them to church functions; and also using them as payment to her neighbours for their kindness, whenever they shovelled the drive or mowed the lawn. Mom moved to Oaks Retirement Village in February this year, where she was happy to join other ladies from Dresden who also lived there, and made many new friends. She loved the many activities and could often be found in the dining room helping other residents to fill their plates at the buffet or assist them getting seated at their tables. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Chatham-Kent Hospice for the wonderful and tender care Mom received during her final days. Your compassion and expert attention to her every need was a comfort and tremendous support to us that we will never forget. Mark Louis St.Pierre, a resident of Dresden, passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 38. Born in Chatham, he was the beloved son of Steve St.Pierre (Louise) and Becky (Neels) St.Pierre

Mark was the husband of Kim McCallum and a proud father to Avery St.Pierre and Jaxon McCallum. He was also a loving step-father to Lexi Picard and Parker McCallum. He will be deeply missed by his brother Ross St.Pierre and remembered by his step-brothers Adam Metcalf and Nick Metcalf. Mark is also lovingly missed by his nieces, Aleka and Zaylynn. Cherished son-in-law of Amy and Dave Wall.

Mark will always be remembered for his generous heart. He was the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation. He loved poker, Marvel films, and never missed a chance to absolutely destroy anyone brave enough to challenge him in chess. His friends were his world, and he carried them with him through every chapter of his life.

Mark was a true family man. He worked hard to give his kids a good life, and family always came first. He found joy in the little things. A hot coffee, a good conversation, or just sharing a laugh with someone he cared about. If you ever had the pleasure of meeting Mark, you left as a friend, no longer a stranger. He also cherished quiet afternoons playing golf or lawn bowling with his dad. Moments of peace that meant more to him than words could ever say.

A Celebration of Life for Mark will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 113, Dresden, on January 10th, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

If desired, donations may be made to CKHAF - Mental Health & Addictions Program or the Mental Health Network of Chatham. Online condolences and donations may be left at: www.badderfuneralhome.com

Our Story

We are a family owned funeral business providing families with funeral, cremation, and alternative services at our 3 locations serving Thamesville, Dresden and Bothwell and the surrounding communities in Chatham-Kent and Lambton since 1956. For 61 years it has been a privilege and an honour for our family to assist families through their grief journey. Badder Funeral Homes grew again in 2005 with the purchase of the Dresden United Church. This became the current location of the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, Dresden. It is similar in style to the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home. Again it is all on ground level with a very spacious chapel. In addition to the Bothwell funeral home, Dresden also has a children’s room and a small reception room.

Don continued to work with John and Jason before retiring. He and Shirley continue to reside in Bothwell. In 2000 the former Grace Anglican Church, Bothwell was purchased and became the new home of the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home. The new facility was built on ground level with a large spacious chapel to better serve the families of Bothwell and area.
