NOT starting tummy time early
Tummy time isn’t just a milestone activity, it’s something your baby benefits from right from the start. The earlier you introduce it, the more natural and comfortable it becomes.
Here are some safe and simple ways to start tummy time for newborns up to 5 months:
✨ Supervised daytime tummy time naps - on your chest, or in a bassinet stroller while out for a walk
✨ Prone over a roll, blanket, or breastfeeding pillow
✨ Prone on your lap
✨ Carry your baby face down
These small, consistent moments make a big difference. Tummy time helps:

✔️ Build comfort in different positions
✔️ Boost brain development
✔️ Develop vision
