Cheryl Gordon Yoga Therapist

Cheryl Gordon Yoga Therapist Menopause taught me how powerful yoga and mindfulness can be for real-life challenges like weight, sleep, and energy.

Now I share those tools with midlife women who want to feel stronger, more focused, and truly at home in their bodies. Menopause challenged me — extra weight that wouldn’t budge, sleepless nights, sore joints, and that frustrating lack of energy. That’s why I created signature programs that uniquely combine simple, effective tools to help women like you take back control of your health and happiness. Through yoga, mindfulness, video lessons, journal prompts, and coaching, I guide midlife women step by step to lose weight, sleep better, build strength, and regain focus. You don’t need extreme workouts or strict diets — just clear, compassionate support and practices that actually work for your changing body. This community is here to remind you that midlife isn’t the end of feeling vibrant — it’s the beginning of a new chapter. With the right tools and encouragement, you can feel stronger, more confident, and more energized than you thought possible.

No Unicorns: Embracing Real-Life Struggles

There is sometimes the illusion that those of us who preach, you know, peace, love, harmony... had these charmed lives where we just float around with rainbows and unicorns shooting at our asses. Well-meaning friends and family members have cautioned me not to be honest with y'all because you wouldn't trust my teachings if you thought I had problems too, right?

So here's the first tool in navigating a major crisis with mindfulness. Awareness.

In a human life, there will be times of wonderful joy and happiness, and there will absolutely be times when things suck. And you know what? It's probably about 50-50. Anyone who says that they're rarely uncomfortable has either had a lobotomy or they are numbing regularly with alcohol, comfort eating, Netflixing, overspending, or some other buffering type of behavior. Recognizing and allowing those uncomfortable feelings is the first step in mindfulness.

It's okay. You're not broken. My life is not bad because we're dealing with a health crisis here.
