Bethesda Passport Services Grand River Outing – Now Open for Registration!

Join us for a memorable event, featuring a scenic 3-hour cruise through Caledonia, ON. Take in the beautiful views while enjoying a lively 30-minute Blazing Fiddles performance, followed by a delicious 3-course lunch served onboard. Including your choice of entrée, salad, fresh bread, dessert, and a beverage.

This experience is supported by 6.5 hours of direct care from experienced Bethesda staff, with a 3:1 support ratio, ensuring a safe, engaging, and personalized day for all participants. It’s an excellent opportunity for social connection while also offering caregivers a valuable daytime respite. Round-trip transportation is included from the Thorold office (3280 Schmon Parkway), making it easy and convenient to take part in this unique outing.

Together with our regional partners, they’ll be working to enhance support and streamline services in early learning and child care settings.

In February, we hosted our second annual Sexual Health and Wellbeing for All conference—focused on inclusion, education and empowerment.

We were honoured to welcome Dani Bowman as our Keynote Speaker. As a cast member on Netflix’s Love on the Spectrum U.S., Dani uses her platform to advocate for inclusion and empower others to turn passion into possibility. She is also an autistic entrepreneur, animator and founder of DaniMation.US, Dani shared her journey and advocacy for neurodivergent communities.

She highlighted the importance of representation, self-advocacy, and setting boundaries, reminding attendees of their right to respect and confidence in relationships and life.

Thank you, Dani, for inspiring meaningful conversations and change.

Step into Spring. Come for the games and activities, stay for the friendship and fun!

Get ready for an afternoon filled with laughter, connection and creativity! This event is the perfect chance to meet new friends and enjoy engaging activities in a welcoming environment. To celebrate the changing seasons, participants will paint their own plant pots, each person will leave with a custom creation ready for flowers, veggies or herbs.

This fee-for-service event includes 4 hours of direct support from experienced Bethesda staff at a 3:1 ratio, making it ideal for individuals looking to socialize with peers in a supportive setting and for caregivers seeking reliable afternoon respite.
