6 Ways to slow down:
Learn how to say no: You don’t have to do it all. Slowing down often means letting go of some things—even good things—to create margin for what matters most.
Leave the house without your phone: Try going on a short walk or running an errand without it. Notice how you feel. Does it bring anxiety? Relief? Insight? Disconnection from your phone can lead to reconnection with yourself.
Create margin in your day: Leave 5–10 minute buffers between activities or appointments. That space gives your mind room to rest and reset.
Intentionally unplug: Choose one part of your day to go screen-free—like mornings or mealtimes. The mental space you gain can be surprisingly restorative.
Build rhythms, not just routines: Instead of filling your schedule, create rhythms that allow rest, reflection, and connection. Think: morning quiet, tech-free evenings, weekly pauses.
Reflect and adjust as needed: Build in short moments to ask: What’s working? What’s not? What do I need more or less of? Slowing down doesn’t mean doing nothing—it means living with intention and flexibility.
