Congratulating our Keewaywin PSW April McKay on completing the NW Regional Rehabilitative Care Program with St. Joseph’s Care Group and Confederation College. She is now a certified Community Rehabilitation Worker for her home community. She will be able to support and enhance community participation in traditional activities, exercises, social groups, local transportation assistance, and transitions between hospital and home for the safety and wellbeing of clients.

Congratulations to April on her accomplishment!

KO eHealth & KNet have touched down in Webequie First Nation for our first community engagement of Phase 5 Implementation bringing Virtual Emergency Support Services to the Matawa communities.

This is a vital step toward improving access to emergency healthcare for our remote First Nation communities.
