All year long Residents ask when is the CLE? Every year we attend in August on Special Needs Day. We had a blast! Thank you to folks from the CLE who gave us free tickets and to our former staff Leslie (worked in dietary) & Debbie who works in housekeeping for volunteering with us. Some brave Residents got on rides, played games, ate fair food and had a great day. Memories saved for next year!

We held a strawberry socialevent yesterday. I went to Belluz Farm and purchased local strawberries, the flavour is amazing compared to store bought. We made a homemade shortcake and we had 46 Residents out on our patio & front lawn. We received rave reviews.

Here are some photos of our Canada Day celebrations. We had 67 Residents and many family members join in on the festivities. We made Canada Day skewers with Timbits, marshmallows, strawberries and cheese...not a crumb was left. We took a chance and the entertainers on our front lawn.
