Ka-Na-Chi-Hih Healing Lodge

Ka-Na-Chi-Hih offers a 7-week, holistic healing program for Indigenous individuals, ages 18-29, addressing substance use and mental health challenges.

Program

Our programming is holistic in nature and we use culturally-focused and trauma informed treatment approaches to help our clients on their healing journey and recovery from substance use. We work with Indigenous individuals, ages 18-29 accepting males and females, regardless of gender identity, on a rotating intake every 7 weeks. We are open and willing to accept referrals from across Canada, but maintain a focus on those within NAN communities. We have a 6 bed capacity and every resident has access to a private bedroom during their 7-week stay at Ka-Na-Chi-Hih. Our philosophy of treatment involves holistic care, common respect, welcoming and caring for all, nurture, and believing everyone can do it. Our mission is to ensure we provide a nurturing and supportive environment for Indigenous individuals who are embarking on their healing journey to wellness of body, heart, mind, and spirit.

Holiday Drum Night Schedule 🎶

During the holidays the lodge will be closed for December 11th, 25th, and January 1st.

Join us for Drum Night on December 18, our last gathering before the new year! 🥁

Drum Night will resume weekly starting January 8.

We can’t wait to see everyone on December 18 and to come together again in the new year.
