🤍 ‘littles and latching’ is a group for mothers on their nursing journey looking for connection, support through nursing challenges and knowledge about oral structures and their functions.

💛 ‘littles and baby led weaning’ is a group for babies and a parent as they transition to solids, gain connection, understand textures, reduce fears, and continue to learn of the oral structures and their functions.

Re-Introduction time 👋! I’m Nikki, the Speech-Language Pathologist behind the account. I’m a mom of two littles, and one teen exchange student (for a one year term). I married a pilot; so I do a lot of the parenting solo (and the day-to-day like cutting grass/shovelling snow). Life can be busy; I get it. I’ve always had a creative approach to life and have enjoyed bringing that to my practice. When I’m not working, you can find me in nature, paddle-boarding, cooking, or creating (all with the littles in tow). I’m just a regular mom, doing my very best for them and the clients who come through the door to see me.

How did I get here starting a company on my own? As a new mom, I needed help to discover this new adventure I’d just arrived on. Nursing didn’t come easy to me or my kids. We’ve struggled a lot. This has all lead me to become a holistic practitioner; which means I look at the whole person. I provide insight on oral posture and development, feeding positioning, speech and language milestones, AND I recommend referrals to relevant health professionals for their input.
