Our new highway sign for our Talk4Healing helpline just went up East of Vermillion Bay! We want to increase awareness about the helpline so everyone across Ontario knows about it and knows they can access our services 24/7 ☎️

Spent the afternoon at on Vickers & Arthur for their Beauty Mingle event which is part of their ongoing support in raising donations for us at Beendigen. All the Shoppers in town are part of this awesome campaign with funds staying in our community and helping us at Beendigen! Chi-Miigwetch to all local Shoppers stores! Gleaning is the traditional practice of gathering leftover crops from fields after harvest that would otherwise go to waste. 🥕 🌽

We are so honoured to have been a part of Joanne’s journey through life and we thank her for the many years of dedication and the difference she’s made in the lives of her coworkers and those she has supported in her many roles at Beendigen! In 2024, Thunder Bay District had the highest opioid-related death rate in Ontario (Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario, 2025). Each of those deaths was somebody who mattered. 💜 Honour them and commit to taking action for Overdose Awareness. August 27 | George St. (Shelter House) | 11am-2pm
