Happy New Year!

Superior Hearing Centre is expanding our team and looking for a Communication Disorders Assistant.

This team member would support our audiologists in providing exceptional hearing care and include duties of providing hearing screening services, managing hearing aid repairs and troubleshooting, providing support to patients in the community and completing various office support tasks.

This position has full time hours (Monday to Friday 9AM to 5 PM), with competitive salary and health benefits.

Hangar walks are back this week! Avoid the snowy sidewalks and walk safely this winter season. Hope to see you there!

Our LU Hangar walks begin this week, Tuesdays at 2:30 pm and Thursdays at 10 am. Don't forget your indoor shoes!

With December officially here, we want to inform our patients about our holiday closure. To give our staff a well-deserved holiday break, our office will be closed from Dec 24th to Jan 2nd. If you have any urgent needs during this time, email support@superiorhearing.ca or call our office at 807 346-0101 and leave a message. We will be sure to support any urgent hearing needs throughout the closure.

Attention lovers! We’re excited that custom rechargeable hearing aids are now available for patients who love Phonak sound.

Last week, our audiologists got a first hand experience with the new technology and are eager to share what we’ve learned with our patients.

This week we welcomed Hope to Superior Hearing Centre, as part of the Alzheimer’s Society Ray of Hope campaign.

Many of us have a personal connection to dementia and our office is committed to making our space welcoming and supportive for everyone. We hope that other businesses will join in supporting this campaign to help build a more caring, dementia-friendly community.

Of course, while Hope was here she had a full hearing assessment, as she knows the important role hearing plays in our overall health.

Our sign is up! We are OPEN and so is our parking lot (even though it’s shrinking ➡️). Continue through the road closure signs on Water St to enter our (still existent) parking lot!

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE 🚜! Please ignore the road closure signs, as our office is still open and accessible from our Water Street entrance. If you are on the North side of the city coming down River Street you can turn right onto Court Street left onto Tupper or Camelot and left onto Water Street. If you’re heading from the south end on Water Street ignore the barricades on Water Street up to our entrance. We’ll provide an update as changes occur.
