For years I thought more work = more results. Work really hard, get really good results.
But that's just not true. It's more about staying consistent and taking the rest you need. Because the reality is, sometimes we're just tired. Sometimes more feels like too high a hurdle. Something is better than nothing AND rest is essential!
Your body doesn't get stronger during the workout. It gets stronger during recovery, as your muscle repairs and adapts.
Especially if you're pregnant or postpartum, or navigating hormonal changes, rest isn't lazy. It's strategic.
Your body is already doing massive work. Sometimes the best thing you can do is let it recover, adapt, and rebuild. Don't skip rest days. You don't have to push hard every time.
That's not giving up. That's training smart. ๐ก
