Last night in Confidence Club, our group became scientists in the “Friendship Chemistry Lab.” 🧪 Together we explored how different ways of approaching others can impact building friendships.

Everyone made predictions, watched the reactions, and had great discussions about which behaviours help friendships grow the most. ✨

To wrap up, each participant created their own friendship recipe, adding the ingredients they think make strong and positive friendships. 💙💚

This week in Confidence Club, our group went on a Confidence Treasure Hunt 💙

The kids started with a movement-based treasure hunt, exploring the room to find confidence clues hidden along the way. Each clue focused on positive self-talk like kindness, bravery, and strength. Only the positive messages could unlock the treasure, so the group worked together to spot the ones that lifted them up.

Using a map, we followed the clues to the treasure chest. One by one, each child read their confidence statement aloud and placed it on the chest to help unlock it. Once opened, everyone received a little loot bag filled with fun surprises.

Activities like this help build self-awareness, confidence, and the ability to recognize helpful thoughts while letting go of the ones that hold us back. The group did an amazing job supporting each other and celebrating their strengths 💚💙

Building Connections, One Moment at a Time 🤍

At Friendship Builders, our kiddos practiced connecting with peers through play, movement, and shared activities. From checking in on energy levels, to taking turns, problem solving, and navigating real social moments as they happened, this group is all about building meaningful friendship skills in ways that feel natural and fun.

We focus on supporting kids in the moment, celebrating wins big and small, and helping them grow confidence in themselves and with others. So much teamwork, laughter, and learning happening in one space. We can’t wait to see everyone again next Saturday 💚💙.

Today’s Confidence Club activity was Emotions Hunt 🔍

Our kiddos became detectives, watched fun scenarios acted out by our therapists, and searched the room to find the hidden emotion clues. They drew or wrote their findings and brought them back to Detective Headquarters to share what they discovered.

This activity helped build emotional awareness, perspective taking, communication, and problem solving in a fun and engaging way. We loved seeing the kids collaborate, share their ideas, and cheer each other on.

So much learning, teamwork, and confidence building in one activity 💙💚

Last night at Confidence Club, our kids created something pretty special. Through a hands on activity, they mixed their own “potions” filled with intention, creativity, and meaning. Each jar represented something important to them like brain power, heart strength, confidence magic, calm, courage, and helping others.

As they chose colors, textures, and names, we saw so much reflection, problem solving, and pride. More than anything, we saw kids naming their strengths, talking about emotions, and believing in what they already carry inside themselves.

Confidence Club is about building skills, connection, and self belief in ways that feel fun, safe, and empowering. Nights like this remind us that confidence does not always look loud. Sometimes confidence is a quiet moment of pride, ownership, and belief in oneself. 💙

We are so proud of this group and the growth we see each week. Can’t wait to see you all next week.

Confidence Club was full of big moments, brave choices, and so much joy. From pulling on superhero capes to talking about what makes each of us strong, the kids leaned right into the idea that confidence is a superpower we all carry in different ways.

Throughout the session, we focused on strengths like kindness, courage, patience, focus, positivity, and confidence. These ideas were woven into everything we did, from movement and play to shared activities and group conversations. Whether they were watching together, taking turns, or exploring materials side by side, the kids practiced showing up, trying new things, and supporting one another.

What stood out most was the sense of belonging. Every child had space to participate in their own way, feel successful, and be celebrated for who they are. Confidence Club is not about being loud or bold. It is about feeling safe, capable, and proud of yourself.

We look forward to seeing our superheroes again next week and continuing to build confidence, connection, and courage together 💙🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️💚
