Join us for Gammondale Farm Day! Kindly donated by Sue and Gerry Gammond, this event will be held on Sunday, October 26th, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m and is open to all GJCC clients and families. 😃

Enjoy fun activities like duck races, pumpkin train, barn animals, forest maze, tractor-pulled wagon rides, straw mountain, barnyard maze, and a pumpkin catapult!

There will be snacks available in the Log House compliments of Sue and Gerry Gammond of Gammondale Farm Family Fun and the George Jeffrey Children's Foundation.

Registration is mandatory but there is no fee.

We are so grateful that George Jeffrey Children’s Foundation has been selected as one of the three charities to benefit from Thunder Bay in Concert: Canadian Folk! 💙

Join us on October 23 at 7:30 PM at the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium for an incredible evening celebrating the music of Canadian legends like Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Gordon Lightfoot, Anne Murray, and more.

Proceeds will support George Jeffrey Children’s Foundation, United Way Thunder Bay, and Westminster United Church.

For caregivers of children who are presently on the ACP waitlist, you're invited to a "While You Wait" information session between 1:00pm - 3:00pm on September 18th designed to support you while your child is on the ACP waitlist. Learn practical therapy strategies, build augmentative and alternative communication skills, explore ACP services, and receive communication tools to use at home. 😀🧡

A big thank you to the Thunder Bay Community Tennis Club for giving our kids a free lesson during our Tennis Day last week! 🎾 They had so much fun learning tennis basics and playing games like Jail Break and Shark Attack. 🙏 Thanks also to the parents, caregivers, and staff who made the day possible!

Join us for the next Youth P.A.C.K on Tuesday, September 9th at the George Jeffrey Children's Centre (200 Brock St) from 4:30 to 5:30pm. Held on the second Tuesday of each month, Youth P.A.C.K offers a welcoming space for youth aged 11 and up to socialize, connect, and make new friends. 🧡

Brought to you by the Recreation and Speech-Language Pathology departments, the program is just $2 to attend. To register, please call the GJCC reception at 807-623-4381 any time before the group. 😀

This past Monday, we gathered at Lakehead University for Hockey & Basketball Day! 🏀 Kids had a blast learning hockey skills, playing a game with Lakehead University Thunderwolves Hockey, and finishing with basketball drills. A big thanks to Lakehead University for the gym! ☺
