Jacquie Kennedy Health & Wellness /  It's in the Journey I am a personal trainer, body building specialist,corrective exercise specialist & cert boxing coach. Loving ourselves through all life throws at us.

The hashtag find your pretty was something I used during my health and wellness journey. It represented to me not just exterior appearance, but how I felt about myself. Everyone in every stage of their life should be able to look at themselves and say I'm pretty, inside and outside. That being said I'm trying to have facebook remove it from the name of this page because I feel some who aren't there yet might find it hurtful. I'm trying :) If I can't I'll make a new page!! After my workout, I still needed 1500 steps to achieve my 10,000-step target, so I got on the walking pad and finished the required steps in 13 minutes, staying on for an additional 2 minutes to meet my numerical goal due to my focus on exact numbers.lol

Got to jump in on some of my boxing class tonight!! Need to do that more often ❤️

Eyes burning from salty sweat, skin on my legs twitching from the weight training followed by cardio on the treadmill for 30 mins and red face from pushing past comfy! Its really not glamorous but it sure feels fricken good!

So i had a lot to do today… house cleaning was one priority and working out the other…
So I put on great tunes and did both…at the same time!!
I put my toughest resistance band on and while washing dishes I did at least 6 different movements… some while washing, like lateral leg extensions and pulsing lateral leg extensions… as well as knee to elbow lateral lifts, when good tunes came on some high knees hops etc. There were some glute kick backs, side steps and more. All while the first chore got done. I then sat down to fold laundry and would do 10 seated knees open shuts after every 3rd thing folded. I ended up with a great workout (my legs will feel it in a couple days).

When I brushed my teeth I squatted. When I filled my water bottle at the cooler I pulse squatted for the count of 30.

There is always some way to overcome excuses and you dont need to leave the house to workout. Heck I have even jogged for 20min through the livingroom and kitchen over and over.

Do this for you!!! Move you all! For the health of it!!

We were both tired and a little sore … if i didn’t have her as my accountability partner i might have said I’ll sleep and workout later and then later say I’ll workout twice tomorrow etc…. But because I knew she wants the push too I got up, made a workout hit the send button that I was good to go and away we went. Now workout number 4 for the week is in the books! I feel great and energized for the day and don’t have to worry about fitting it in later!
If excuses out number your workouts find an accountability partner who you want to show up for too… doesnt have to be in person or the same city. Hop on the phone and get them going or workout together. Support is huge and builds the habit… do it because health and wellness is important, healthy aging keeps us in our homes, hugging those we love and living a great life…. MOVE!!!!

I got home from work, had dinner, gave the granddog a bath, visited daughter in law to be and then came home.
I didn’t get a workout in this morning so knew I had to get one in and the assault bike in. So I came home gave myself a little lecture and got my ass downstairs and on the bike for 3 miles… I got off the bike and felt so good I did a weight training session.
Now I feel amazing and Im off to shower, read, meditate and get to bed!

One choice to keep to your goals can snowball and eventually turn into a habit.

GO GET THOSE GOALS!!!

One day at a time! One workout at a time!
