Life humbles you as you get older..

You stop worrying about all the big things that need to get done, and value the little things that are happening right in front of you. Taking a step back and allowing yourself to live in this moment.

You learn to realize that spending time alone with yourself is better for your mental health and happiness. Such a blissful realization.

You learn to go to bed at a decent hour because anything less than 8 hours of sleep isn’t good enough. Trust me that REM is crucial for your brain!

You learn to start treasuring your body as a temple by eating healthier, exercising often, and going to regular medical appointments if necessary.

You learn the value of time, and that time can be taken at any given moment. Spending more time with loved ones. Making plans to visit more or even just simply sending a message to show you care.

Simplicity and tranquility becomes the ultimate goal to a better life ✨🌻

She did it!! With her last birth she called anesthesia in twice and sent them away, twice. And while she didn't actually get an epidural with her last baby she really didn't want to get to a point where she was begging for one this time...

Not once did she ask for an epidural! She was so calm and she was so cared for. We also had a great new nurse from CA who was super chill and supportive.

Yes, blood loss is normal after birth. What you're seeing on her knees is her "separation gush" for her placenta which she finished rolling over for and birthed that too... Like the badass mother birther she is!
