Roots & Branches Forest School (formerly Connect The Dots) focuses on building community, mindfulness, and connecting others to our environment. Operating out of the Baggage Arts Building in the Marina, Willow Springs Creative Centre and now on in Lappe, We have a variety of mindfulness and forest school programs for all ages including teambuilding, forest therapy and mental wellness retreats for companies!

✨ Star-being Kids: A One-of-a-Kind Inner & Outer Full Day Adventure ✨

Half-day inside and Half-day outside! ☀️💖🌲

Inside we invite kids into a sanctuary of sound, creativity, and mindful movement.

They’ll explore:
🪘 Drumming • 🥣 Singing Bowls • 📀 Gongs • 🎼 Song & Voice
💫 Sound Healing • 🧘‍♂️ Breath & Stillness • 🕉️ Affirmations
🎵 Dancing, Shaking, Moving 🧵 Crafting with bark, moss & sticks
🌱 Wildcrafting — from moss balls to mullein candies and earth-based creations.

Each morning begins inward, with journaling, pondering, and gentle flow—song, movement, silence, imagination. Children discover their creativity, their voice, their rhythm, and their calm.

Then we step outward, into the Forest. 🌲
Our afternoons outdoors are full of curiosity, magic, and adventure. Kids explore:

🌲 Trees • 🐾 Tracking 🐦 Bird observation • 🐿️ Animal signs • 🌿 Plant connection
🔥 Fire making • 🛖 Shelter building • 🎲 Nature games
✨ Portal walks, sit-spots, fairy & gnome worlds
🌊 Connecting with the Elements

🌞 TRANSCENDENTAL SOLSTICE SOUND JOURNEY

A full and complete sound bath woven into a shamanic-style sound story.Settle into stillness as you’re immersed in the vibrations of three gongs, flutes, drums, bowls, shakers, chimes, and soul codes.
We’ll gather in celebration of the returning light and invite visions for the path ahead —a powerful moment to release what the dark season has held and welcome what wants to rise.

🌬️ BREATH, GONG & BOWLS $40
Sat Dec 6th & 27th 1:30pm
You’ll be guided intuitively through breathwork that follows the natural rhythm of your energy.
Then drift into a nourishing shavasana as Himalayan singing bowls and a subatomic gong create a cocoon of sound around you. Clearing, empowering, grounding, and soul-level soothing.

🌬️✨ BREATH & BOWLS $25
Mon Dec 15th 6pm
A primarily breathwork-based session tailored to participants.
You’ll be guided through intentional breathing and finish with a bowl placed on the body to help integrate your journey from the inside out.
