It’s a balancing act ⚖️⁣

Lip anatomy, shape and proportions varies between individuals. A good aesthetic provider will look to provide harmony to facial features rather than just augment.⁣
⁣
As you can see her bottom lip was small in comparison to her upper. As such I focused solely on building the lower lip and left the upper alone. I rarely like to treat only the upper or lower lip but in some cases it is necessary to help balance the lips and create a more aesthetically pleasing result. ⁣
⁣
Although balance has been greatly improved she may still need another session in a few months to build the lower lip just a little bit more.

Just a little more plumpness for these pretty lips 🥰⁣⁣

This was my clients first lip enhancement and she wanted to add a bit more fullness while still maintaining a natural looking lip. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Photos were taken immediately after so there is some swelling present. Residual swelling close to/on the vermillion border can sometimes last up to 4 weeks. When building lips more it is important to wait at least a month before adding more when the residual swelling is gone to avoid migration and to better assess where filler should be placed.
