Welcome to our newest therapist, Matthew!

Matthew is a Registered Psychotherapist who brings a compassionate, trauma-informed approach to his clinical work. He is dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges by creating a safe, supportive space where healing and growth can take root. With specialized training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Matthew integrates evidence-based techniques to support clients dealing with anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, relationship issues, and the lasting effects of trauma.

Matthew believes in meeting clients where they are, tailoring therapy to their unique experiences, strengths, and goals. His work is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and the understanding that meaningful change happens when people feel seen, heard, and respected.

Whether supporting clients through emotional crises or helping them build skills for long-term resilience, Matthew brings a steady, grounded presence to each therapeutic relationship.

Camden is in the process of becoming a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). She is in her final year of completing a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology.

Camden leads her sessions with a strengths-based, client-centered, and trauma-informed approach. She has extensive experience working with neurodivergent individuals and is LGBTQ+ affirmative, ensuring a safe and comfortable space for her clients. Camden’s approach to psychotherapy is fundamentally rooted in empathy, authenticity, and collaboration to support individuals navigating life transitions, identity exploration, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma.

Camden tailors her treatment to the individual client, integrating techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy, and Narrative Therapy to address their individual needs. In this 3-week art therapy group, participants will be supported through creative body-focused guided practices and artmaking to use hands, feet, and faces as symbolic “maps”. Participants can increase self-awareness, self-expression, insight, and strengthen their mind-body connection.

No previous art experience is required.

What to Expect?

A group with 6 to 12 participants

An opening circle with check-in, grounding, & intro to the aspect of body-mind-experience of the week

This group will help you to:

She offers a welcoming and client-centered approach, drawing on her specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). Welcome Heather to our team!

Heather is a registered social worker with a Masters of Social Work degree. She works from a client-centred approach that is trauma informed. She believes that meaningful change occurs by accessing your individual strengths and building on them through a collaborative and compassionate process.

Heather has over two decades of experience supporting clients in a variety of treatment settings including, substance abuse and mental health outpatient care. This experience includes helping clients with substance use issues of a loved one, grief and loss, stress, attachment trauma, brain injury, disordered eating, depression and relationship difficulties.

This group will offer space and opportunity for participants to explore, express, and play through art media and the art-making process to intentionally increase a sense of joy in everyday life.
