We’re thrilled to welcome a new, skilled technologist who has been trained at the prestigious Mohawk College/McMaster University Echocardiography Program and worked alongside experts at the Ottawa Heart Institute. Plus, all scans will be read by Ottawa Heart Institute cardiologists to ensure top-quality care.

Here are some important tests every woman should consider:
• HPV Test: Early detection of HPV can help prevent cervical cancer. Women aged 25+ should get regular Pap smears or HPV tests as recommended by their healthcare provider.
• Mammograms: For breast cancer detection, it’s recommended for women 40+ to begin regular mammograms. Early detection saves lives.
• Bone Density Test: Osteoporosis is a common concern for women as they age. A bone density test can help detect issues early.
