Hello, my name is Cynthia Goodchild. My business was suppose to be a healthy concession stand that served burgers and fries. The burgers I would serve would be chicken, vegetable and beef sliders; the fries I would serve would be sweet potato, beet and yucca. The concession stand was going to be called Cynthia's Burger Barn, unfortunately I have to wait for funding so I can get all the equipment I would like to have for it. but overall I enjoyed my experience and thank you for providing the learning experience

We are Mariah Wigwas and Precious Anderson, We have decided to create a partnership to develop workshops for aboriginal woman. We decided to call it Empowering our Water Carriers. We have both felt lost at times, not knowing who were are or where we belong, through life experiences and being drawn in by our culture through the nishnawbe blood within us, we have discovered that we were not the only ones. Native women have been lost. We both have found our ways back and feel so empowered and with our knowledge and wisdom. We want to share this amazing feeling. We started with an idea of workshops but then soon realized that this job is bigger than both of us, we need community, we need our culture to drive these young women to want to come back home. We just started writing our curriculum and noticed that we can go bigger! with week retreats to a summer camp! we are now developing this little idea we had at first and hope to hold our workshops next summer, with the help of our communities and other organizations we can make this dream a reality. We are going to continue with our endeavours throughout the year, we are two very determined women and want this to be perfect.
