Lakehead University’s Women's Basketball team is hitting the court this FRIDAY at 6pm for a great cause: Local breast cancer care right here in Thunder Bay & NWO! 🩷

And don’t worry... Jenelle and Marco STILL won't be playing.

Since launching their Think Pink games in 2009, Lakehead University teams have raised over $90,000 for the Northern Cancer Fund for Breast Cancer!

100% of proceeds stay right here in Thunder Bay & Northwestern Ontario, helping fund vital equipment for improved breast cancer diagnosis, treatment, and research for patients in our community.

Kamview Nordic Centre is hosting a Candlelit Ski & Snowshoe! on February 4th! Join in to dedicate a heart in honour of someone you love, and support cardiac care close to home. ❤️🕯️

Thank you so much to James Hill, who raised $560 in December with his annual Listen to the Lights fundraiser!

For the last 10+ years, James has been bringing smiles & Christmas cheer with his awesome light show. All donations will be going towards the Our Hearts at Home Cardiovascular Campaign, to help bring cardiovascular surgery to Thunder Bay & NWO. ❤️

We want to send a big congratulations to Pat Chilton of Moose Cree, the lucky winner of the Thunder Bay Hospital 50/50 draw!

A proud father of five boys and a devoted grandfather, Pat shared that this win will make a lasting difference in his ability to support and care for his family.

Pat recently retired after a long career serving our communities, working in healthcare administration and First Nations-led power development as the CEO of Five Nations Energy. His life has been rooted in service to community, and we celebrate this exciting win for Pat.

Patrick Chilton and his wife, Audrey flew in from Timmins today to meet the Thunder Bay 50/50 team! We made sure they got the "big" cheque, received the "real" cheque and ate PERSIANS!😉

The immediate plans for these two are lots of travel, a BIG kitchen (Audrey's manifestation) and spending time with friends and family! Congratulations to these two incredible people once again!
