Meet Sherry! I have loved having her in my classes for the past 6 months. She bounces into her every class full of energy and is excited to see what torture I have in store for her each night! Seeing her transformation has been inspiring...I told her recently that she needs a whole new wardrobe as all of her gym clothes are falling off of her!! Not a bad problem to have! Her journey has been so inspiring that she has encouraged a number of her friends to join my classes and they all love them too!

Here is her story:
I suffer from fibromyalgia and wanted to try a different route so I decided it was time to get moving and eating healthier. Well I must say I started in September with a full body strength training class with Shelley and I have been addicted to her energy and her positive outlook on life ever since.

It isn't easy getting up and getting going but it has been the best thing I have ever done for myself and my well-being.

Since September I have attended her Monday and Wednesday night classes as well as some yoga and meditation on the side. I have got off a lot of my medications and am feeling a lot better. I do have to push through it a lot but the feeling I get when I'm done her classes is so addicting. You feel so energised and refreshed!

AND the extra bonus is I have LOST 23 POUNDS and now get to shop for new spring clothes!!!

It is finally here!🎤

After an early February reschedule due to the weather our Biceps & Brunch Galentine's Party is THIS WEEKEND, Sunday March 1 from 10:30 am to 1 pm! 🥰

We will begin with a FUN & SWEATY workout for all fitness levels at 10:30 am at the Leisure Centre! 🏋

THEN we will head over to the Tilbury Legion, just a few streets away for a delicious BRUNCH provided by their brand new chef! 🥓

At the brunch we will have some social time with old and new gal pals and if you wish...there will be CAESAR and MIMOSA specials available to make your breakfast a little more funzies. 🥂

👏I'm so incredibly proud of my girl TRACY who just finished a 6 week session with me, losing over 15 pounds and a whole lot of doubt about herself!!

🙋I met Tracy last year when she started coming to classes at the Leisure Centre. She had been trying to lose some weight on her own but when I announced I was taking on new clients for January she jumped at the opportunity to 'find her fix in 2026'.

😎AND THAT SHE DID!

🥗Tracy was already eating well and a good cook so we just made little tweaks to her eating.

🐕🐕Tracy was already walking her dogs daily so we just walked a little more.

💦Tracy was already drinking her water and staying away from pop and juice so we just set a target that she had to hit on the daily.

🏋️‍♀️Tracy was already coming to my strength class 1x a week and doing home workouts so we just pushed a little harder and added some cardio in when able to supplement the strength training.

🥰 She checked in daily, followed my advice and lo and behold she started believing she could and she DID!!

Want STRENGTH? Join us Monday 9:30 am or 6:15, Tuesday 9:30 am or 5 pm, Wednesday 9:30 am or 6:15 pm or Friday at 9:30 am or 4:30 pm. 💪

Need more CARDIO? Our Tabata classes mix strength and cardio, boxing is all cardio and the special CARDIO DRUMS class this Friday night is the most fun you will ever have SWEATING (with your clothes on lol). 🏃🏾‍♀️

This lady is one of my very favourite clients. Each time she comes to me she works extra hard to achieve her goals set. She checks in every day and works tirelessly to meet her targets for nutrition and habits set. She is honest if she has a bad day and listens to my advice on other things she can do to handle situations that arise.

It is not a sign of failure that she has come back a few times as honestly weight loss is hard and if it wasn't everyone would be sitting around at their goal weight. A lot of people just need someone like me to hold their hand and ensure they are doing all of the things they need to do.

Each time she signs up she learns a little bit more about herself and what helps her to lose weight & get healthier inside and out.

She had a few setbacks this last session but she still didn't give up! Even though it would have felt easier, TEMPORARILY she knows that this is a lifelong thing and something that we all have to master in the long run. She still lost just shy of 10 pounds in 6 weeks despite the difficulties that arose and that is pretty darn amazing.

Cheers to you my friend and I look forward to working with you again soon.

I couldn't have said this better myself! 🎤

This amazing lady signed up for coaching in January with big goals! But a few short weeks in she had a personal crisis with a health emergency that happened in her family, requiring a lot of time spent in the hospital after work and on weekends so little time to meal prep and work out. 🆘

She wanted to give up....but I wouldn't let her. I held her hand, gave her ideas for easy meals when on the go, how to get her steps in the hospital and helped her to breathe and be patient with herself and do what she could do. 👯

She did not meet the goal she set for herself in January but guess what? She is over half way there and that is amazing considering the alternative...if she had thrown in the towel like many people do and stopped when things got hard, she may have been rounding out February with not only increased weight on the scale but not feeling very good about where she was at both inside and out. That would not have been good for her or HER FAMILY!😭

INSTEAD she is sooo proud of herself for continuing on in her journey and knowing that if she continues to do what SHE needs for HERSELF to be her best self then she is going to be able to show up BETTER for family members that need her. 👏

Because the thing is....eating balanced meals, drinking your water, getting your steps in and doing your workouts is not just about the scale BUT about your health, your mindset, your energy levels...your quality of life...now and in the years to come. 🎉

So cheers to you my friend. I am excited you are continuing on this journey with me. You have set a great example not only for yourself but for others that life is never going to be perfect so you better do the things now so that when things come your way you are READY!!! 😎

Thanks so much to Shelley for her guidance and pushing. Shelley gets that we all have a life and makes sure she guides you through how to lose weight, make good choices and feel good about yourself! She has been so helpful helping me through this weight loss journey when unexpected life events happened. As she said, when you need coaching most, is when life gets hard. My advice, don’t wait for the perfect time to start getting serious about your health. Meet my amazing and beautiful client and FRIEND Delia! She just completed her first 6 week nutrition coaching program with me and lost 20 pounds!!!

I still remember Delia first coming to my class over a year ago...she was a super busy working mom so the late night classes were the only ones that fit into her schedule. When I moved away from the Dance studio she kept coming to me, even though some nights were difficult with her own kids' sports schedules to get her workouts in. But she did it. She also fit in classes with another instructor Sarah (now owner of Just Move) so that she was getting in 3 classes a week.

In the Fall she started focusing on her nutrition more, so that the hard work she was doing in the gym paid off even more. She started losing weight and noticing changes with this new focus on her eating. When I advertised that I was taking on new nutrition clients in January she decided to take this next step and hire me.

Delia is a fabulous client, checking in daily, asking questions and getting support when she has to navigate weekends away for sports. She gets in 3 strength classes a week, over 12000 steps a day, drinks 3L of water or more a day and even is now using a weighted vest on her treadmill at home to get her sweat on. I'm so proud of her for all of the changes she has made!

She signed up for the next session so this is just the beginning. I'm super excited to continue with her on this journey!

Happy Motivation Monday everyone!
If these pics don't motivate you on this sunny February morning nothing will. 😎

My girl Sabrina is now down a whopping 50 pounds! She is stronger, she is leaner, her clothes are fitting better and everything she just does in life feels easier!🥰

Oh what a feeling!!😁

Did this happen overnight? Nope. Sorry not sorry. This happened in over a year of hard work doing twice a week personal training with me, improving her nutrition and habits, increasing her step count and believing in herself that she can and she will. As she is not done yet! Nor will she ever truly be done as once you get to your goal you can't just stop! 💪

See when we stop chasing FAST and EASY goals and start being in it for the LONG HAUL something inside us changes. We realize that one off meal or one missed workout is no big deal. We don't beat ourselves up over it and just KEEP GOING, focusing on what we did do that day or week and not what we didn't. We strive for progress over perfection and patience over frustration. ❤

We stop restricting and start living and knowing that every good meal, glass of water, strength training session, 30 min walk ADDS UP to not only long term weight loss but best OVERALL HEALTH. 🏃

Please join me in a big CHEER for Sabrina and all that she has accomplished to now and all that she will continue to do in the years ahead!! 🥂
