I am so excited to introduce to you the latest member of our fitness team, LISA MYERS!! She is currently team teaching a number of classes with me as part of her training and learning things like:
+Randomly stop the timer because you want everyone to experience more fun at the station! β°
+Count down the last exercise as slow as possible as no one wants the class to end! 2οΈβ£2οΈβ£2οΈβ£2οΈβ£2οΈβ£
+Tell the class that it is the last exercise knowing full well that they really want ONE more before the leave! π
+Hand heavier weights to people who look like they need more of a challenge just to be nice! ββββββ
These are all important tips and an integral part of training here at GFS! π
Now let's learn a little about her:
A lifelong advocate for health and wellness, Lisa is a former fitness instructor and retired professor who is excited to return to the fitness industry. With years of experience motivating others through movement and education, she has completed multiple marathons and proudly qualified for and ran the Boston Marathon in 2017.
As a long-distance runner and seasoned educator, Lisa brings a unique blend of athletic insight and teaching expertise to every class.Now reentering the fitness world, she is committed to helping others reach their goals through motivation, movement, and mindful training.
We are also excited to have Lisa also lead the upcoming TRAIN TO RUN 5K series because as you can see this girl can RUN and she has been working hard over the past few weeks setting up the training series so that everyone who joins is successful.
