Good morning and happy SaturYAY!
We have a busy week of fitness heading into the last week of May!
Please note the following:
*If a class at either location is wait-listed please put yourself on the list as spots always come available!
*If you can't make your regular Monday or Wednesday Leisure Centre class then feel free to sign up at Just Move on a different day or for a morning class.
*This is the last week of our Train for 5K series! The 8 weeks flew right by. We will still be offering 5k jogs in June for everyone but you need to sign up with a punch card!
*I am subbing for the Pilates teacher at Just Move on Thursday night at 6 pm so if you would like to try a class that is Pilates inspired with me this is your sign!
*I am doing a POP UP BARRE HIIT class on Saturday! If you have always wanted to try a BARRE class this is the perfect opportunity for you to purchase a one class pass for $12 and try it out!

We love sharing testimonials of our happy clients! As losing weight is not just about how you look and feel on the outside BUT on the INSIDE and that is where it counts the most.

My girl Ursula has been doing my program off and on for a few years, coming back just for that extra accountability and hand holding she needed to succeed.

Usually we did MACRO TRACKING and although she worked hard on this plan it was never her favourite. So when I introduced her to the BALANCED PLATE method and my new app she fell in love with this method and how easy the app was to use!

Ursula already had a good gym routine in place and ate pretty well we just took it to the next level.

👣Before she tried to get 10000 steps in every day and with me we made sure of it.

💦Before she tried to drink her 8 cups of water a day and with me we upped it to 10 cups.

🏋️‍♀️Before she got 5 workouts in per week and with me we just kept that going!

🥑Before she worked hard to eat healthy and with me we ensured every meal was BALANCED with PROTEIN, HEALTHY FATS and FIBROUS CARBS!

🍷And...we worked in her lifestyle of going out for dinner most Friday nights and a glass of wine or two on the weekends.

Ursula exceeded her 10 pound goal in 6 short weeks and is now armed with the tools she needs to keep it going! Great job my friend and always know that I am only a text away for support, encouragement and to share good news of your continued successes!

Good morning and happy Sunday! A special shout out to all of the MOTHERS out there on their special day whether you are a mom to a child or fur baby or play a significant role in raising a child...you matter! Happy Mother's Day!!

I have had this conversation with soooo many clients. Firstly, the scale never moves as FAST as anyone wants it to! You didn't put it on overnight so it is certainly going to take more than a few weeks to get the weight off and more importantly keep it off. I have never met a client doing a healthy not restrictive plan who tells me the weight is just coming off too fast and we need to slow down

So if you look at the post..if your jeans are fitting better and your waist is getting smaller than you are losing INCHES and BODY FAT. If you have more energy then how you are fuelling your body is working for you. If you are lifting heavier in the gym than you are getting stronger and building muscle. And if you are noticing little changes in the mirror no matter how small, the plan you are on is working.

AND NOBODY SEES YOUR SCALE ANYWAYS!

If I could snap my fingers and give you your DREAM body but you would be at the exact same weight as you are today, would you want it?

OF COURSE YOU WOULD! The scale is just one measurement tool, and it doesn't measure strength, body fat %, inches lost, or confidence.

STOP letting ONE number outweigh (pun intended) all of your progress!!!

This beauty just finished up her nutrition coaching session with me and is ready to tackle it now all on her own.

AND the best part is that I will still be seeing her in fitness classes so this is not good bye, this is a 'you got this' for the nutrition part of your journey and I am just going to keep encouraging you to get stronger in and out of the gym.

Delia is the heaviest lifter in our gym ! She puts 110% into not only the strength exercises, but the cardio and core ones too. She is a role model not only to the other ladies in class BUT to her daughter who she has brought to a class many times.

I'm so proud of you girl and I know that you have only just begun! Cheers to us lifting heavy and sweating together in the months and years to come!

Starting my weight loss journey felt overwhelming at first, but having the right fitness and health coach made all the difference. I've been able to lose 30 pounds in a way that feels sustainable and empowering.
