We’re excited to officially unveil our second office location at 670 Airport Rd Unit 205B!🎉

This new space was thoughtfully designed to better serve the diverse needs of our clients. It is fully accessible, located on a main floor, and can be accessed through exterior electric doors.

We are also honoured to offer a space where Indigenous clients may smudge with their therapist, should they wish—supporting culturally meaningful and respectful healing practices.

This expansion reflects our ongoing commitment to accessibility, inclusivity, and client-centred care. We look forward to welcoming you into this new space.

We look forward to working with you!

We would like to welcome Morghan who will be with us for a brief 6 week internship!

"Hello, my name is Morghan Byrnes, I am a fourth-year Psychology student at Université de Hearst, currently completing a six-week placement at Champagne Counselling and Therapy Services.

I have lived in Timmins my entire life, and I am strongly motivated to contribute to increasing the availability of psychological services in Northern communities in the future.

Outside of my academic and placement responsibilities, I enjoy spending time outdoors, particularly at my family cottage throughout the year. I have a long standing passion for sports - especially hockey - and have been a dedicated volunteer with Porcupine Minor Hockey for most of my life.

I am deeply passionate about mental health, with a particular interest in trauma. I am motivated to expand my knowledge in this area and learn from a variety of experiences and perspectives. "

We are incredibly excited to welcome Mackenzie Tomiuk to the Champagne Counselling and Therapy Service's team!

Mackenzie brings a wealth of knowledge and focuses her practice on working with children and families who live with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

"My role is not to 'treat autism' but rather to support and educate families in embracing a neurodiversity-affirming perspective. I believe in presuming competence, respecting body autonomy, and recognizing that connection and autonomy will always hold more value than compliance. My goal is to walk alongside families as they navigate challenges while also helping them celebrate the strengths, uniqueness, and joy their children bring."
Through some diverse professional experiences, I have developed the skills to work with many different populations—children, families, adults, and seniors—each with their own unique needs. My practice is client-centered, collaborative, and adaptable. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize, manage, and regulate their emotions, while always tailoring my approach to the individual in front of me."

Mackenzie is currently accepting clients for evening and weekend appointments!

You can book directly with Mackenzie by calling 705-360-3132, emailing her at Mackenzie@patchampagne.com or via our Janeapp Portal for Self-Booking
