Diane H. Daviau
March 16, 1957 – November 19, 2025
It is with sadness and a smile that we announce the passing of Diane H. Daviau at the age of 68. She was born on March 16, 1957. Diane was a woman whose heart was as big as her laugh and whose kindness filled every room she walked into. Diane adored her work as a dispatcher with First Student Bus Lines, where she loved her drivers and coworkers like family. Her famous send off and last words are "Have a super-duper great weekend!".
In her early years, Diane not only operated a successful catering business Dy's Cafe, but also poured her heart and soul into every dish she prepared. Her dedication and tireless work ethic were legendary, and anyone who tasted her cooking knew it was made with love. Her strong personality, combined with her infectious laugh made her a beloved figure in both the catering world and at First Student Bus Lines.
Dianes legacy extends far beyond her professional accomplishments. She was a pillar of strength and joy to her family and friends. Whether she was organizing an event or sharing a hearty laugh over coffee, Diane's presence was a gift to anyone who knew her.
