These milestones are a general guide to help you understand what skills often emerge between ages 1–6.

If you have questions or notice your child is finding some of these skills tricky, our Occupational Therapists are here to help through fun, play-based support.

Guess what!? We are looking to add a full-time permanent therapy assistant to our team! Therapy assistant positions are highly sought after and don't come up very often. If you've thought about joining Bright Spot, this is your opportunity!

Who are we looking for?
- Ideally someone who has experience working as a therapy assistant, but we are willing to train if you have a relevant background (e.g., teacher, ECE, EA, CYW, SSW, etc.)
- Someone that loves working with children
- Someone that cares about their work and making a difference
- Someone who likes to look for each child's unique interests and incorporate them into their treatment plan
- Someone that works well with an incredible team
- Someone that is passionate about learning

BRRR - SNOW DAY
Our clinicians WILL be travelling to schools today.
Reminder: typically when it is a snow day, if your child's clinician feels safe to drive, they will still go to schools to see your child and we will provide an indirect to students that are not at school in lieu of sessions.
Aren't sure of the plan for your child?
Feel free to email your child's clinician or call the office to discuss the plan.
Please drive safe today! ❄️

❄️ Coldest Night of the Year ❄️

We're joining for the 9th Annual Fundraiser as we come together to walk, raise awareness, and support our neighbors facing food insecurity.
Every step helps make a difference. Let’s show what our community can do when we walk together!

We will be having a staff challenge again to see who can raise the most money! The staff member who raises the MOST amount of money will be completing the walk dressed as a giant sun, and the one who raises the LEAST will get pied in the face by the giant sun!
