Congratulations to Lisa Korri of Porcupine on being the grand prize winner for August. She’s taking home $104,680!

When we initially called, of course she didn’t believe us and thought it was a joke her husband was playing on her. She was out picking up a coffee with some coworkers who were able to share in her excitement and record the moment.

After getting off the phone, the first thing Lisa did was check her numbers to confirm that she was the winner. She then called her husband, who had to check the numbers for himself. Only then did they fully believe it was real.

Lisa has been playing our 50/50 for quite a while and said that she is “beyond grateful” to have won. Initial plans include paying some bills and a trip to Las Vegas.
