⚠️⚠️ Please take a moment to read the following post—this is about one of the core programs we offer at Rehab Plus: publicly funded physiotherapy through the Ministry of Health for those who rely on it most.
Our clinic participates in Ontario’s Community Physiotherapy Clinic Program—one of the key services we offer that provides publicly funded physiotherapy through the Ministry of Health for eligible individuals, including:
• Adults 65+
• Youth 19 and under
• Individuals recently discharged from hospital (for eligible conditions)
• Individuals receiving ODSP
Many of these patients rely on this care to maintain mobility, independence, and overall health.
As highlighted below, the program is under significant strain, making it increasingly difficult for clinics to continue offering these essential services at the level our community needs.
If you or a loved one benefit from this program—or believe in accessible care—we encourage you to learn more and consider supporting the petition.
URGENT: Ontario's Seniors Are Being Left Behind
**Access to publicly funded physiotherapy for seniors at risk.**
Ontario's Community Physiotherapy Clinic Program is in crisis. Over 80% of patients are seniors who depend on this publicly funded care to stay active, independent, and out of emergency rooms.
Here's what's happening:
- In 13 years program funding has increased by $20 for each multi-session treatment provided
- Senior population grew 940,000 - but available treatment sessions grew only by 17,000
- Clinics are withdrawing from the program because their participation is not sustainable
The impact? Preventable falls, fractures, and loss of independence for thousands of vulnerable people in Ontario who cannot access care.
We can't accept this. Every $1 invested in community physiotherapy saves the government $4. Our seniors deserve accessible, quality care. Demand better. Sign the petition today. https://c.org/JVbHdfvZ5D
