🚫 MYTH: “Hypothermia only happens in the winter.”
✅ FACT: Even in summer, you can get hypothermia — especially if you’re wet and exposed to wind, or in cold water for too long. In spring fed lakes, water temperatures can cause hypothermia in under an hour.

🩺 First aid tip: Get the person out of the cold/wet environment, remove damp clothing, wrap them in warm, dry layers, and seek medical help right away.
