One powerful effect of massage is its ability to help us regulate our nervous system and enter a parasympathetic nervous system state🧘🏼‍♀️ (“rest and digest”) We often spend more time than we should in a sympathetic nervous system state 🤺 (“fight or flight”) Massage offers welcome relief by lowering stress hormones and helping the body release oxytocin and beta-endorphins. The release of these hormones and chemicals help us to feel relaxed. ✌🏾

Massage therapy also aids the body in detoxification, supports digestion, improves circulation and lymphatic flow, increases immune function, prevents sports injuries, treats many different injuries, increases mobility, reduces anxiety and so, so much more!

Welcome to my page, friends!! I have some new followers and haven't done an introduction post in a while! My name is Katherine and I am a registered massage therapist serving Tofield and area! I have been practicing as an RMT for 10 years! My home based practice has been open since 2021, and is located about 15 mins west of Tofield. I strive to provide skilled and intuitive massage therapy treatments to all of my clients. My space is safe, warm and welcoming!

Although I provide both deep tissue and relaxation massage, my special interests are in women's health, neck, shoulder and upper back issues, and postpartum care. Myofascial cupping and hot towels are included in every massage treatment!

Rates are currently:

~60 min- $85
~75 min- $105
~90 min- $125

*** Direct billing available to most insurance companies ***
