July was jam-packed with fun and creativity! 🌞
From a lively Name That Tune session hosted by one of our amazing residents, to whipping up mouthwatering Mango Floats —we kept the good vibes rolling!

We played Funnel Pong, crafted beautiful DIY seashell trinket dishes 🐚, and threw a tropical Hawaiian Luau Party 🌺. To top it all off, we wrapped up the month with a DIY swimsuit design activity and a fabulous swimsuit design contest! 🩱✨

🎉 June was buzzing with excitement! 🐝

We packed the calendar with nonstop fun—from donut ring toss and card games to crafting our own DIY Bee Watering Stations (saving bees and having a blast!) . One of the month’s highlights? Our outing to the TELUS World of Science!

Residents celebrated early with a party yesterday! Residents enjoyed playing games, socializing and the tasty food made by our kitchen. Sunshine Villa participated in the town parade today with residents and staff, and we had a blast!

Happy Father’s Day! Sunshine Villa celebrated early with a Casino themed Father’s Day party! 🎰 the gentlemen had a chance to try their luck at the human slot machine, play some cards games, enjoy root beer floats and socialize. Thank you to our kitchen for the dice brownies, meatballs, pigs in a blanket and stuffed potatoes!

Happy Mother’s Day! 💐

Our lady residents enjoyed an early celebration at our Mother’s Day Tea, joined by their loved ones. Our wonderful kitchen team prepared a delightful spread featuring cucumber sandwiches, strawberry scones, angel food cupcakes, and floral lemon tarts. A heartfelt thank you to the talented Taryn Delaney Penning for filling the room with beautiful harp music! Our ladies received a thoughtful handmade keychain from Activity Coordinator Bethany and our Work Experience Student, along with a charming mini bouquet from Sunshine Villa, beautifully arranged by Cross Road Floral.

Congratulations to our resident winners for the Easter Gnome Hunt! 🌷

A gnome was hiding around Sunshine Villa every weekday until Easter Monday and residents who found him received a reward!
