A Time in Torbay

A community event planned by volunteers for July 12th-15th, 2018. Hoping to encourage community spirit and togetherness.

A Time in Torbay is a community event that is being planned by a volunteer committee in partnership with the Town of Torbay for August 20th, 2016! The purpose of this event is to encourage community spirit and togetherness. Over the upcoming year, the committee will host a number of events in support of A Time in Torbay!

And just like that, A Time In Torbay 2018 has come to an end; what a weekend!

To our festival partners, gold, silver and bronze sponsors, friends of the festival, volunteers, participants, venders, community groups such as the Torbay Volunteer Fire Dept, Torbay Lions Club, Torbay Folk Arts Council, Torbay Allied Youth NLPost #1051 and Torbay Public Library and to anyone who helped in anyway, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Our community came together this weekend, it was very nice to see!! We hope you enjoyed the festivities to the fullest!!

As our Family Fun Day has moved inside to a gymnasium, the number of people attending may be limited to ensure the safety of all involved.

Although A Time in Torbay's Family Fun Day is moved to Holy Trinity Elementary the Photo Scavenger Hunt and Geocaching is going ahead from the Multi-Purpose Room at Upper Three Corner Pond Park!

Registration for the Photo Scavenger Hunt is between 1:30PM & 2:00PM. Hunt starts 2:00PM. Take a drive around our beautiful town and capture some landmarks! The first black by 3:30 PM with the most photos will win the prize! Minimum of 2 people and maximum of 5. Vehicle and adult driver is a must.

At 3:30PM Geocaching will start. Registration is at 3:00PM. Be the first to collect the message for great prize!

Come out for a fun afternoon with your family!

Preparations are under way for this morning’s Family Breakfast hosted by Torbay Lions Club!

Tickets are available at the door!

Time: 9:00 - 11:00 AM
Location: Holy Trinity Parish Hall

Breakfast includes:
Toutons, sausage, eggs, beans, hash browns, pancakes, toast, fruit and tea/coffee/juice

Adults: $8
Children (12 and under): $4
Children (Under two): Free

We hope to see you there!!!

Far East kicking off what is sure to be a ‘time’ in Torbay!

Our concert goes ahead - rain or shine! We cannot control the weather and we have asked Mother Nature to be nice!

Here is some information about tonight:
- Tickets are $25 tonight!
- The FREE shuttle buses from Torbay Town Office & Darrell Pye Drive start running at 5 PM and continue until the concert has ended.
- There is no parking on site except for blue zone space with a valid permit
- Leave your umbrellas at home as they are not permitted on site. This is for safety reasons.
- Chairs are only permitted in the all ages section of the concert.
- Wear your ponchos and rain gear!

It’ll be a TIME in Torbay even with a little rain!

We are ready to go for our Children's Bike'Arama, starting at 1:30pm, Juniper Ridge. This little shower doesn't bother this little lady!! And Thank You to the Torbay Volunteer Fire Dept for being the lead!! The kids are in for a treat!!
