Going for a run? Fuel smart.

Carb-load 3-4 hours before long runs, or have a light snack 30-60 minutes before a short one. Fruits like apples or grapes provide quick energy to power your stride.

Train smarter, run stronger.

Vitamin D plays a key role in maintaining bone density and supporting overall health, including reducing risks of cancer, diabetes, and some autoimmune conditions.

Dr. Liz says a good way to prevent deficiency is first, by finding out what your levels are from your GP or naturopath. Next, supplementation! Especially during winter months.

Mild discomfort can be normal when you’re building strength, but that sharp, persistent pain that you keep pushing through? That’s your body asking for help.

Proper form, recovery, and progressive loading are key to healthy progress.

Listen to your body. It knows best.
