The 12th annual Krampus Ball was magnificent. A treat for the eyes, ears and soul.

It also marked the first spill in Chaicore history, where a regrettable 5L was unwittingly sacrificed - and accidentally boosted the aroma of The Opera House 😅

Krampus is a tricksy fellow, it seems.

Back to serving chai at my favourite local festival in less than 10 days! Not many tickets left - bloom :: a psyLush & Nomada Gathering

I hope to see many of y'all there. If you're on the fence, get off and come frolic with us in the forest. We got:

-A femme-powered festival where you can feel the love and community with every step and every glance
-2 beautiful stages
-Many many workshops
-Live and electronic music, with soooo many talented artists
-A tonne of mesmerizing performers
-Robust risk reduction space with trained professionals
-A sacred space set up for reflection and grief
-Beautiful forest, well lit paths, and absolutely wonderful people
-Scrumptious food vendors, exciting crafts vendors
-Quite hours to sleep, and louuuuddd hours to dance your asses off

I am happy, honoured and proud to be back at Bloomlandistan this year.

Follow the smell of chai on the dancefloor, probably during the dark-ish times.

Bloom is one of the best festivals I've been to, and my favourite local one. The warmth I feel at this place, is akin to the warmth I aim to bring with the chai.

This wonderfulness is now sold out, and we'll bring you back some stories from the forest.

Office hours are, as always, undecided - when you smell it, you know it's happening. The aim is definitely one batch, maybe two batches.

The thing about organic ginger is they're tiny, knotty and groovy. Normal ginger is a lot easier to peel.

Little glimpse of the Chaicore-ner at Wiggle Room Toronto for UTOPIA - The Inner City Event - w/ ATYYA, Hudson Lee, Medicineman, Living~Stone & Incandescent

The event was a blast, the folk were a pleasure to serve, & the chai was flowing.

Spectra deserves a big high five for lighting inspo/set-up 🙌🏽 and inspiration stories about her chaiwalli experiences in the down-under ☕🦘

Chaicore is happy to be part of the shenanigans tomorrow night UTOPIA - The Inner City Event - w/ ATYYA, Hudson Lee, Medicineman, Living~Stone & Incandescent at Wiggle Room Toronto.

The line-up looks damn dancy, the venue is a community favourite, and the love put into this one is palpable.

This is a special one - what was originally meant to be a wonderful festival of warmth, talent and friends has been condensed into a wonderful night of the same qualities in the city. AND, We're very happy to get a chance to dance with the crew for the night 💜🎉🎊

Come find the little table with lights, and get yourself a complementary cup of the good ol' spicy spicedness.

Tomorrow, Chaicore is off to Lumaterra Festival.

The Grin-Behind-Chaicore has oh so dearly missed spending days in the forest with frolicking friends and bouncy beats, and is straight up honoured to be included in the wholesome shenanigans.

This is a milestone - since its official inception and naming, the presence of CC has been largely been out of love and out-of-pocket**.

Until a dancefloor conversation a few months ago, where Lumaterra became the first festival to reach out and say "hey we'd like to hire you to do the thing".

The recognition and validation is still hitting me like a tonne of bricks, and has partially motivated upgrades/other chaimongering business.

The gratitude I feel is very...feel-able. I think ticket sales have closed, so to those of you who're coming - let's share a cup of tea, and some stories.

Looks like this post ended up being more about CC than the festival. Oops 😅
