Advocacy has no face... no brand...
I am reaching out to you as an an Anonymous concerned member of the Va**ng community. for the next five minutes, ignore my user name. This is much larger than you and I.
In the next 44 days the Ontario government will seal the future state of the va**ng industry and I am asking you to STAND WITH ME to fight for equality.
Problem with Proposed Bill?
V**e stores within Ontario (ALL OF CANADA) require an exemption to be able to v**e within their stores (EXCLUDING MEDICAL MA*****NA).
Why?
Without the ability for an electronic cigarette vendor being able to explain the product in full detail, (which would include activating the product and demonstration of its correct use), the success rate of users finding a healthier alternative would diminish dramatically. An indoor va**ng exemption for retail outlets is critical in product safety and correct use to ensure success rate continue to climb;
American Journal of Preventative Medicine:
* 31% of 222 respondents who tried ecigs were still not smoking after 6 months **FACT
* Respondents using ecigs 20+ times per day had a quit rate of 70.0% ** FACT
* Of those who stayed off ci******es for 6 months; 34.3% were not using ecigs or ni****ne products ** FACT
* Studies on effectiveness of ni****ne patches found just 8.2% had abstained from smoking after 6 months
* Study on effectiveness of ni****ne chewing gum found only 7.7% of prescribed gum group and 8.8% of OTC gum group were not smoking after 6 months
The Ask?
I am asking everyone.... to participate in an action plan that will help us urge the provincial government to look at the impact to the stakeholders in the Electronic Cigarette industry. Who are the "Stakeholders"?? ALL OF US!
How?
