In our educational video Mind Body Connection, our associates explore what it means to heal the mind–body connection within a therapeutic space.

We discuss the importance of working with the body as part of overall wellbeing, and how this can support a more grounded, aligned way of living ✨

Healing often involves gently unlearning old narratives of danger and helping the nervous system reconnect to present-moment safety.

It also means allowing ourselves to feel the full range of emotions again.

Although therapy often involves talking, it is much more than “talk therapy.”

People sometimes describe their past experiences as only having “talk therapy,” but therapy should never be just a space to vent or talk things through without direction.

Being heard and validated is an essential part of the process. At the same time, meaningful therapy also includes reflection, insight, skill-building, and support for change and growth. 💛
