When I first started looking into permanent makeup, even before taking my first course, all I saw online were photos of young women with flawless, smooth skin.

So naturally, I thought that’s what most permanent makeup clients looked like.

But once I started working, I quickly realized the reality was completely different.

Most of the women I see are in their 50s, 60s, 70s and beyond.
They’ve lived full lives. Their skin has texture, softness, expression and it deserves to be seen and celebrated, not edited out.

Mature skin just needs a gentler approach, a lighter hand, and an artist who truly understands how it heals. The results can be just as natural, soft, and stunning.

So if you’ve ever looked at PMU photos online and thought,
“I’m too old for that”… please know, you’re not. 💕

Brows can be customized beautifully for every age, skin type, and story.

✨ Comment SKIN below if you’d like to learn how I can design brows that feel like you.

“Are my lips going to look, like… super bright?”

- Every lip blush client ever, 5 minutes before we start.

I get it. It’s your face. And the idea of walking out with super bright lips?
Mild panic. Totally normal.

But here’s the thing:
Lip blush isn’t lipstick. And it never heals like it.

I’m not here to give you full-glam party lips (unless that’s your thing)

My goal is to enhance your natural tone, usually by just a shade or two, so the healed result looks like your lips, but more defined, with better circulation and little to no effort

So no, you won’t heal looking like a Real Housewife after a Pinot Grigio-fuelled filler spree.

You’ll just look a little fresher. A little more "alive." Like your lips remembered how to be lips again.

Every day, she used sticker stencils, carefully lining them up, avoiding water, sweat, even eye contact.

She got tired of it and booked an appointment.

She told me, “I just want them to look like mine. Not drawn on. Not fake. Just… mine.”

So we chose nano brows: soft, hair-like strokes that rebuild natural shape without harshness.

And when we were done, she looked in the mirror…
and loved what she saw.

No makeup.
No stencils.
No more hiding.

If you’ve lost your brows from over-plucking, or something else, or don’t have much to begin with, you are not alone. And you don’t have to “just live with it.”

There’s a softer, more natural way forward.

Ever noticed tiny little white or yellowish dots on your lips? They’re called Fordyce spots, totally normal and harmless, but they can sometimes make your lip colour look uneven or add texture to the tissue.

That’s where lip blush comes in. While I can’t erase Fordyce spots completely, I can blend them in so they appear softer and less noticeable. The bonus? Your lips also get a little extra definition and a natural wash of colour.

In this client’s case:
✨ We focused on blending the spots as much as possible.
✨ Her lips healed with a soft tint that worked beautifully with her natural colour.
✨ The overall effect stayed natural, not too bright, just beautifully balanced.
✨ We also redefined her lip contour, which had softened over time (and from filler), for a subtle, polished look.

👉 Curious if lip blush could help even out your lips? Send me a DM and I’ll give you an honest opinion about what’s realistic for your lips.

Your morning eyeliner?
…already handled. 😉

Lashline enhancement = soft, smudge-proof definition that lasts years.
No raccoon eyes. No eyeliner battle.
Just eyes that look brighter, all day, every day.

I’m always getting so many questions about permanent makeup: what it is, how it works, and if it’s really the same thing as a tattoo. So…I decided to start a blog!

My very first post is a deep dive into the basics:
👉 What permanent makeup actually is
👉 How it’s different from traditional tattoos
👉 The different styles (like Nano, Powder, Combo brows, Lip Blush & Eyeliner)
👉 And who it’s really for

It’s basically a beginner’s guide, written the same way I explain it to my clients in the studio: clear, simple, and honest.

I’ll also be sharing real client stories along the way so you can see how other women are using PMU to save time, feel more confident, and make their mornings easier.

If you’ve been curious about PMU but didn’t know where to start, this first post is for you. 💕

When this beautiful client came in, we had a great conversation about both nano and powder brows, and explored which option would best suit her lifestyle and goals.

In the end, we chose nano because:
1. She rarely wears makeup on her brows
2. She wanted something that felt natural, but still gave subtle definition
3. She was looking to gently refine her shape

The result? A seamless enhancement that blends beautifully with her natural hair, so her brows look like hers, just a little fuller, more balanced, and polished.

Nano was the perfect fit because it creates ultra-fine, realistic hair strokes, ideal for:
✔️ Filling small gaps without adding density all over
✔️ Enhancing what’s already there.
✔️ Achieving a sheer, airy finish that’s barely detectable up close

If you’re feeling unsure which brow technique fits your face or lifestyle best — that’s totally normal. The first step is always a personalized chat where we walk through the options together. There’s no one-size-fits-all, just what feels most you.

Curious what might be right for you?
