Oily skin doesn’t automatically mean “no” to nano brows, but it does mean we need to be thoughtful 🤍

This client had oilier skin, but the brow area itself was clear and suitable for nano. That made all the difference.

With this skin type, strokes won’t heal as crisp. They soften slightly over time.
But when the right client and technique come together, the result is still soft, natural, and flattering.

Every face is different, which is why I always assess things like skin texture, pore size, and overall brow condition before recommending a service.

There’s no one size fits all here, and that’s a good thing.

If you’re unsure what your skin is suited for, feel free to DM me 🤍 I’ll always give you honest guidance.

Perfect brows sound great in theory. But your face is not perfectly symmetrical, and it is definitely not perfectly still.

Almost every face has natural asymmetry. One brow may sit higher on the brow bone, one eye may open more, or one side of the forehead may be more active. Because of this, achieving perfectly symmetrical eyebrows is not always realistic, especially once your facial muscles move.

When your face is still, brows can look very even. But as soon as you open your eyes or change expression, muscle movement shifts everything. One brow may lift more, and the symmetry changes.

In some cases, a brow naturally sits differently on the brow bone. To force perfect symmetry, something has to give. This often means lowering one brow, removing more natural hair, or placing the shape in a position that fights your anatomy. That can turn something low maintenance into ongoing maintenance.

Instead, I design brows to look balanced with movement. The goal is not frozen symmetry. The goal is natural harmony that works with your face in real life.

If you want more symmetrical brows but are not sure what is actually possible, send me a message. I am happy to guide you.

Not every brow is suited for just one technique.

This is what we call combo brows, a blend designed to look balanced.

With this client we chose combo brows for a reason.

Her natural brows sat very close together and angled downward, so instead of adding more structure to the front, we kept it soft with wispy hair strokes.

Then we added gentle shading through the body and tail to create balance and fullness without drawing attention to the front.

Because the goal isn’t to fit you into a specific style,
it’s to create something that looks like you, just more complete

“It looks so intense… how long until it softens?”

That’s usually the first thought when clients see their lips right after their appointment.

They look in the mirror, taking it in for a moment. The colour feels bold. The lips look more defined. It is different from what they are used to seeing.

And then I remind them, this is just the first stage.

Over the next few days, everything begins to settle. The colour softens. The lips return to their natural texture. What felt bold starts to look balanced and effortless.

By the time they are healed, the reaction shifts. It feels natural. Easy. Like their lips, just enhanced.

The photos in this post show that full transition. Before, immediately after, and healed from one session, before any touch-up.

If the initial intensity has been holding you back, just know it only lasts a few days before the colour softens into a more natural result.

Sometimes our bodies remind us to slow down.

Working in permanent makeup means hours of very precise, repetitive movement. Recently, my arm has been dealing with some inflammation from overuse, so I am taking a short recovery break this week to allow it to properly heal.

For me, the most important thing has always been making sure every client receives my full focus, a steady hand, and careful attention to detail. Your face deserves nothing less.

This does mean a few appointments will be moving slightly, and new bookings will now begin in June.

I will be honest. I care deeply about my clients, and it is never easy for me to say I cannot take someone as soon as they would like. Making people wait is something I genuinely struggle with. But when it comes to permanent makeup, something that stays with you for years, choosing the right artist is always more important than choosing the fastest appointment.

To everyone who has been so kind and understanding while rescheduling, thank you. Your trust truly means the world to me.

I will be back very soon, healed and excited to create more beautiful, natural results.

If you have been thinking about brows, eyeliner, or lip blush for summer, June bookings are now open.

One day. One healing period. A completely effortless morning routine.

This client actually runs an incredible hot sauce company called Smoke & Tears.

Not the kind you casually drizzle on eggs, the kind that makes you stop, savour it, and immediately want another bite.

Like most entrepreneurs, she’s busy in the real sense of the word.

Running a business. Managing production. Handling sales. Solving problems all day long.

So when she came to see me, she chose something many of my busiest clients end up doing.

She did her full face enhancement:

• Powder Brows
• Soft Shaded Liner
• Lip Blush

Over the years I’ve noticed a pattern.

The women who choose full-face permanent makeup often have the most on their plates.

Entrepreneurs.
Doctors.
Executives.
Women running households, careers, and businesses all at once.

Because when your days are full, those extra minutes in the morning start to matter.

If you normally spend about 20 minutes doing makeup each day, that adds up to:

7,300 minutes a year.
Over 120 hours.
Nearly three full work weeks.

All spent doing the same routine in front of a mirror.

When those steps are already done for you, mornings feel different.

You wake up looking polished.
You leave the house faster.
You don’t think about touch-ups during the day.

And the mental space that frees up adds up too.

One appointment.
One healing period.
A soft, natural result that simply lets you look like yourself, on your best day.

If you’ve been curious about natural-looking permanent makeup, feel free to send me a message. I’m always happy to answer questions.

If a lash line enhancement feels too subtle…
But a classic liner feels too bold…

Shaded liner is your sweet spot.

It gives soft definition, depth at the lash line, and a gentle smoky effect, without looking heavy or harsh.

This is what it looks like when we go conservative at your first session. 🤍

And I do that on purpose.

It’s completely normal to feel a little nervous about permanent makeup. Most of my clients do. That’s exactly why I always start soft.

With lip blush, especially on very pale lips, it’s safer to begin with a subtle wash of colour. If I go too bright on day one, you could heal with colour that feels intense or overwhelming. And removing pigment is much harder than adding more.

The same goes for brows.
If you’re blonde or naturally light-featured, I never want you walking out or healing with dark brows that don’t feel like you.

My job is never to surprise you.
It’s to enhance what’s already beautiful.

We can always:
• Add more colour
• Deepen the tone
• Adjust the shape slightly
• Amplify at your touch-up

But we can’t easily take it away.

I’d much rather you say,
“Wow, this looks so natural.”
than
“Oh no… this is too much.”

PMU should feel like you on your best day, not like a different person.

Subtle first. Build later. Always intentional.

Some transformations just deserve a permanent spot on the feed.

This beauty came in for her touch-up recently and I’m still obsessed with how everything healed.

We did her brows, lips and eyes. A full-face refresh that still looks soft, natural, and totally her.

❤️ Her brows healed beautifully and we didn’t need to touch a thing.
❤️ Her lip blush just needed a subtle boost for that final layer of depth.
❤️ And we added a little extra shading to her eyeliner to give her some more umph.

Everything you see here is about 2 months healed, so what you’re seeing isn’t fresh pigment but how soft and wearable it all looks once settled.

She wanted to look polished without the daily effort, and now she wakes up with everything done. Effortless beauty from the minute she opens her eyes.

Thinking about doing it all at once?
Send me a DM and we can plan a custom full-face enhancement that still looks like you.

Healed Lip Blush Results After Just 1 Session

We often see the immediately after lip blush photos,
You know, the bright, juicy, swollen look.
But what really matters is how it heals.

Here’s a peek at what lip blush looks like after 1 session (with only minor touch-ups needed)

✨ Softer colour
✨ More even tone
✨ Defined shape (without overlining)
✨ A flush of tint that lasts

Most of these healed to a shade or two deeper than the client’s natural lip but still look effortless and totally natural. That’s the goal.

If you’ve ever felt like your lips looked pale, uneven, or undefined…
Lip blush might be the low-maintenance confidence boost you’ve been looking for 💗
