Due to societal norms and their views on Autism, we normally view Autism as a deficit. However, for the next 12 days I am going to be sharing positive highlights about Autism on this page. I hope we can become more engaged here?

Finally we got it right! I understand the impact of this COVID-19 on our children. It sucks that the impact is tremendous especially in reading and writing skills. Most children regress 1 or 2 levels behind. I had a curriculum night yesterday and my daughter's teacher said to me and I quote "Mom we were expecting Chisom to regress in her reading but instead she grew 1 level higher " what did you do? I patted myself on my back and responded "Strive Autism Services coached her ass"😂😂😂😂. What am I trying to say here, Yes we focus on children with special needs but we also work with anyone that needs our services 💯✅ we have a team of Child and Youth Care Professionals and Early Childhood Educators. Guess what? We come to YOU!! Yes you heard me right!! Ask about our services now and it does not cost you much per hour❤

I will love to give you the great news!!! We have made changes to our website to include more promising services for our older youths living with Autism and or other disabilities. We want to create opportunities to help them become involved in their communities and create opportunities to earn co-op hours they need while doing so. Our staff is there to support them through it!! with creation of resumes, interview trainings, and support within the workplace to ensure smooth entrance into the workforce (This includes volunteer services and work services. visit our website to see the changes at www.striveautismservices.com 💪💪💪💪

As parents it is very important that we Accept, Understand and Educate ourselves on ways we can better support our children. Strive is here to help you with that. We want to help you with that and our services are person-centered. Let us work with you and your child. In this video was a child that loves music however, I am not musicially inclined but I created the opportunity to use the little skill I have in music to building bonding moment while building skills she needs. We were aiming on focusing on an activity for a while.

When trying to reduce or stop a particular behaviour, it is very important that you find an alternative behaviour to replace the behaviour you are looking to change. Also be consistent with it to see positive outcomes.

This particular glove was made for an 8 year old child who bites his hand when agitated. This was a testing phase to see if he will direct his biting towards a chewy toy. It worked wonders and as of today he no longer needs it as he has become used to biting his chewy toy. Let us support you and your loved one.
