Bridge Medical Communications

Bridge Medical Communications Our vision is to empower healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes through innovative communication tools, creativity, and strategic collaboration.

08/21/2025

For our co-founder Lorie Spence, starting Bridge wasn’t just about building a business, it was about building the right kind of business within the life sciences space.

Recognizing an opportunity to lead with more clarity, and having the confidence that she and Carolyn had the skill to make it happen. When the environment doesn’t allow for the innovation or autonomy you believe is possible, sometimes you have to create your own.

At Bridge, our focus has always been on medical communications—building credible, evidence-based connections between life sciences and healthcare providers.

Thus in 2020, we launched CONNECT, a dedicated division designed to bring patients closer to the life sciences ecosystem. While Bridge engages providers, CONNECT builds new pathways for patients—through point-of-care tools, innovative resources, and strategies that ensure therapies create real-world impact.

Carolyn’s entry into healthcare started with a nursing degree and years working in the hospital system. But it was watching loved ones navigate serious conditions that sparked a deeper purpose and a desire to make a broader impact.

That calling ultimately led to the creation of Bridge.

Today, we continue to build on that foundation, by bringing together healthcare, industry, and life sciences to improve how we communicate, collaborate, and drive change across the system.

Medical communications is more than messaging; it’s the connective tissue that brings together healthcare providers, industry leaders, and life sciences innovators.

In this reel, Carolyn and Lorie break down the value that med comms brings to the table:
📡 Facilitating evidence-based, two-way communication
🤝 Creating credible, collaborative engagement between stakeholders
🧠 Operating at the intersection of commercial, clinical, and strategic insight

As the life sciences industry continues to evolve, so does the need for strategic, science-backed communication. That’s where we come in.
