International Day of Pink, observed annually on the second Wednesday of April, reminds us to stand together against bullying, discrimination, homophobia, biphobia and transphobia.

This year's theme, ECHO, invites us to listen to the voices of q***r and trans communities, past and present, whose resistance, stories and courage continue to shape the world. We all have a role to play in challenging discrimination and building communities where everyone can thrive.

At Sherbourne Health, we support 2SLGBTQ+ communities through inclusive care and programs that centre dignity, safety and belonging.

This World Health Day, we’re reflecting on what it really means to support health—from access to care, to stable housing, to food security.

At Sherbourne Health, we take an integrated approach to health care. That means supporting the whole person through a network of support: primary care, mental health services, harm reduction, community programs and more.

Everyone deserves care that meets them where they are.

Supervised consumption sites prevent deaths, reduce harm and connect people to care. Ontario's plan to close these sites will have real impacts on the people who rely on them every day.

Swipe through to read our statement or visit: https://sherbourne.on.ca/news/statement-from-sherbourne-health-on-latest-supervised-consumption-site-closures/

We encourage our community to take action by signing the Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario (RNAO)'s action alert to protect supervised consumption services.

Happy Dietitians Day!

Today, we're celebrating our dietitians who support our communities with care, expertise and compassion. At Sherbourne Health, dietitians work alongside community members to make food and nutrition more accessible, practical and responsive to people's needs.

Here are a few moments from our Gut Sense program, where participants explored digestion and the connection between food and how we feel.

Thank you to our dietitians for all that you do.
