Congratulations to Keira, our fantastic L&D nurse, on the birth of her beautiful baby a few weeks ago!! We are so excited for this new journey 🩷🩷🩷
Keira is settling into motherhood and had this heartwarming message for her friends and colleagues here on L&D:
“I had such a great experience being on the other side as a patient! It was definitely a trip being the patient for once!
The day time OB and triage nurse were amazing, encouraging and supportive while I was in the early stages of labor and I was able to be admitted right before change of shift (which was awesome because my OB and the team I usually work with where coming on ❤️)
It was so cool to experience labor for my self and to feel supported by such knowledgeable nurses and OB. I felt comfortable and safe with everyone who helped take care of me and my baby, even when we had some decels.
My primary nurse was Sandra and my delivery doctor was my OB, Dr. Lee. But everyone on shift that night came to support me at one point or another 💜
I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience or team. It’s a day I will never forget and I’m eternally grateful to everyone who played a part in helping bring my daughter into this world safely💜”
