Skin Institute Toronto is seeking an experienced medical/clinic receptionist with excellent communication skills. Experience in aesthetics, dermatology, and/or a family medicine practice is preferred.

The Ideal Candidate:

- has a passion for medical aesthetics
- is an adaptable, fast learner
- has exceptional customer service skills
- strong computer knowledge and experience with EMR software
- is comfortable with Microsoft Office programs
- has strong problem solving abilities
- can multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities Include
- answering phone calls
- booking and confirming appointments
- responding to email inquiries
- completing daily EOD report
- following up with patients
- navigating EMR
- maintaining a record of product stock

** Training in customer care as well as core knowledge of procedures and products in the clinic will be provided.

Reports to: Medical Director

Hours: Tuesday – Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, occasional Saturday’s 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Daily Responsibilities

- Manage of high volume of incoming client calls with a rapid response rate and the utmost professionalism and efficiency
- Manage a high volume of emails providing prompt, professional and friendly service to clients and inquirers by email.
- First point of contact for new patient inquiries
- Manage client EMR charts
- Perform routine administrative tasks

Qualifications

- 2-3 years of relevant work experience in a busy medical office or reporting directly to a doctor
- Experience working in a medical aesthetic clinic is a plus
- Experience using Electronic Medical Records and Microsoft Office
- MUST have excellent communication, customer service and relationship-building skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing tasks
- Must be a team player and be able to receive instruction from multiple sources
- Must thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Well-developed problem-solving skills a must

First it was one of the Jenners, then Huda Kattan, Courtney Cox, and a swath of influencers. Everyone and their mothers suddenly seemed to be dissolving ✖️their fillers - but this practice isn’t new. In fact, one of our most common requests is corrective work!

We love ❤️ that injectables have picked up so much momentum and we love that people have gotten so much more comfortable with both getting injectables 💉 and talking 📣 about them.

Unfortunately, there is such a thing as getting *too* comfortable and over injecting 🙅‍♀️ which only adds to the taboo of injectables. This trend of over injecting has caused us to see one too many sets of “duck” 🦆lips and “chipmunk” 🐿 cheeks desperately looking for a correction.

Our top tip: glow down ⬇️. Less is more! Why face a potential corrective work, when you could have natural 🌱 results from the beginning? Work with your injector to highlight✨ your favourite features, or gently rejuvenate for the most natural anti-aging result.

When treating darker skin types (IV), fractional microneedling poses little risk of post inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) aa compared to other resurfacing methods.

May 1st is in Canada.

My primary practice and passion is aesthetic medicine, but the root of my work has always been HEALTH, treating my patients from the inside out so they can both feel and look their very best.

As a physician, the challenges we have faced this year have made me more and more grateful for my ability to provide for my patients. This year, I had the opportunity to join a community of my colleagues in a physician-run vaccination clinic. We come from all areas of practice and work for one common cause - keeping you safe. Despite the severity of the situation, being able to play such a major roll in your well-being has been the most rewarding part of this year.

With that, I want to thank YOU for your support throughout this roller coaster of a year. Thank you for your calls and emails, your likes and shares, and for continuing to trust us with your beauty for the brief periods that we have been permitted to open. Thank you for every minute of patience in answering our pre-screening questions, for following our extensive protocols, and for doing your part in keeping safe.

There is a light at the end of this tunnel and we can’t wait to see you there ❤️
