Silent Tales of Fatherhood: The Journey of Men from Fatherhood’s Beginning to Fatherhood’s Reality
Co-Facilitated by Greg Babcock MSW, RSW & John Sendim MPS, is a workshop designed specifically for new dads. The workshop provides a supportive space where fathers can come together to share their experiences, reflect on their journey, and connect with other new dads.
The workshop will focus on the power of storytelling as a means of exploring the joys and challenges of fatherhood. Participants will be encouraged to share their own stories and listen to those of others, creating a sense of community and connection.
The workshop will be structured around three key themes: Fatherhood's Beginning, Fatherhood's Challenges, and Fatherhood's Rewards. Each theme will be explored through a combination of group discussions, reflective exercises, and storytelling.
Through the workshop, new dads will gain insights into the unique experiences of fatherhood, learn new ways of communicating with their children, and develop a deeper appreciation for the joys and challenges of fatherhood. Participants will also leave with a sense of community, knowing that they are not alone in their journey.
