I'm in the coffee bar. Good espressos. Mostly quiet. Lana Del Ray's ♪♫ Doin' Time playing in the background. Something's different though...

New seats. The quasi comfortable half couches have been replaced by angular chairs. The tops look like muted horns. I'm staring at the seats and they seem to be staring back at me.
The look in their eyes seem smugly hostile. A ½ hour, maybe a little more, tops, before my back issues the '𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒓𝒕!' order.

I don't know about you, but why do things that 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝘀𝗼 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 often turn out being so 𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗹?

It's almost as if they don't want me to stay too long....wait a sec... 𝒓𝒊𝒊𝒊�

I didn't want to travel. It wasn't a vacation or for work.
It was to say goodbye to someone dear.

Flying over La Guardia looking down at was once the World Trade Center, I'm reminded how fortunate I am.
People like us get to go on, reinvent and make the world a better place.
