April is Adenomyosis Awareness Month, and it feels like the right time to talk about a condition that doesn’t always get the attention it deserves.
Adenomyosis happens when tissue similar to the uterine lining grows into the uterine muscle, causing heavy bleeding, painful cramps, and pelvic pressure. It may also be linked to challenges with implantation and pregnancy.
